It's that animated ferris wheel! laugh

No problems here, although the replay is no longer smooth with that new "blurovision" setting on.

Ford GT sucks though and the LMP2 is hard. Was doing same times as Blunder when I could keep it on the track.

I'm really enjoying the Ford GT, it's pretty frustrating at first but if you treat it right it feels pretty good Cheesy

2:08's for me so far, hopefully there's a second or two to to shave off that but maybe not by tomorrow evening Tongue

Not managed a clean lap yet tonight in the GT40, Forever locking up the breaks, well that's what it feels like except the replay shows the wheels continuing to turn. The lack of tyre smoke with the NTM isn't helping.

Did you do much to the setup Pops? Once I'm in the degners and get understeeer I'm doomed Sad And that's sometimes getting on the power rather than just going in to fast. Can we include the Skippy in the series Wink I can almost drive that, only almost mind you Sad

After going a few rounds wrestling with one of our hounds to get him to the vets and then home again I've got a bad back so I doubt I'll make this one.

Have fun y'all.

jesus Gary... what was it a great dane? lol  Wink

Manage to string 20 laps together in the HPD an online race and get wiped out (again). Usually its people spinning off the grid.... a bit slow though consistently doing 1m48s

HPD has got to be one of my favourite cars  Smiley

Pete, move the front ARB to +5.0, that seems to help me get it to turn better. Other setups are using 0 so I'm not entirely sure what's 'correct' tbh.

I've moved the brake bias back a bit so it's a bit more stable, I've taken the wing down a bit for the long straights but I might need to add a bit more back on to make sure I last the 90 mins!

FordGT: It has diff settings, like GTR, though they effect does not seem to be as dramatic. I'm mostly trying to alter my style as it says in the release notes (keep the nose down)...

Anyways I'm slower than most of you, so please ignore!

Thanks Pops, just been trying several setups off the iR forum. One blokes done a 2:01 on one of them  Shocked I've tried his setup but I can't do a clean lap. Driving like Miss Daisy I fall off because no tyre temp, push a little and I fall off as they're too hot. Almost at the point of giving up Sad

Yeah, it is a frustrating car. I was stuck around 2:11-2:12 for ages yesterday then something just clicked and I was down to 2:08's.

I found watching the fast guys helped.

Hi, I'm Willem.  I'm looking forward to my 1st endurance race with the league. Will be attempting to compete in the Ford GT.

Was someone able to find some sort of setup that works on Suzuka. Huh

See you tonight. Tongue

Same here Fozz.  I just can't break 2:08 despite my optimal now being in the low 2:05's.

w_pienaar, there's set ups posted on the iRacing forum you can try but failing that I'm sure someone will share tonight.

I did a race in the GT yesterday.  My last lap (lap 22) I did a 2:04 flat so the car holds up well over a stint.   The only thing I have changed on the car is the dampers so far. It makes a massive difference.  I have no consistancy though.  Decreasing the front rebound helps alot with high speed understeer.

jesus Gary... what was it a great dane? lol  Wink

Bloodhound - a large one. We had hell and all job getting him in the car and then the vets but once in he seemed to like it and then wouldn't come out without some more fighting.

In the short time I've had with it I quite like the HPD too. I'm well off the pace of Messrs Richards and Harrington though.

Regards
Gary
