Only one minute of racing N. Smith seems to be very wanting to pass me at the race begin. Finally, I decided to let him overtake me ...but it was a bad decision, because 5 seconds later he spun just in front of me and I had no possibility to avoid him ! Next time, you should let increase the t° of your tyres and be more patient, especially on a long and difficult track. Sorry for you N. (Nigel ?) and ...also for me !

After a long lay off I was looking forward to a gentle tour around a very scenic track [congrats to the makers] and was encouraged by what I thought was a very easy to drive default setup on the Lotus. Come race time a decision was made to run the Fezza along with my Waza-mate Blood, having no practice time at all in this red sled, this ,perhaps wasn't the wisest decision. A car that gripped only rarely in the corners led to only getting one timed lap in qually, but a good start could make up for that. Except the grid was so loose there was no sight of the flag, damn. For some strange reason the car handled well throught the first section down to Schotten village and I was encouraged to put a move on Dave at the fast left at the top of the hill, slipping through on the inside with two wheels on the grass. I think Dave was thinking safety first because that, in hindsight shouldn't have been so easy. Then, to repay his kindness I completely lost it in the following chicane and he was unfortunate to be collected by my wayward Fezz. Big apologies Dave for ending your race so prematurely, though its nice to see I'm not the only one good over the fences :- Its a big shame 'cos I really do like this track, and look forwards to it being included in another seasons schedule. I can only repeat my apology and hope to give my next outing a dose of maturity that UKGPL deserves.

I lost the rear end in one of the cobbled sections - I think Raoni lost control trying to avoid rear-ending me and went into the barriers ending his race (Sorry Raoni), sod's law then stepped in and I lost a wheel to an invisible tree 3 or 4 corners later Schottenring isn't a safe place to trumdle about on 3 wheels so I parked her up in a field and quit Well done to anyone who finishes!

It wasn't your fault Tim. I would have crashed even if you hadn't lost the rear or even if you wasn't in front of me. I missed totally the corner. I was thinking that the next corner would be that one before the chicane, but I forgot that we have a sharpen one (in 3rd gear) before that. So I entered very fast, crashed into the fence and lost my left front wheel. I have to say that I was lucky for not hitting you, because I missed completely the turn Anyway, we had a nice battle, it was being very funny. Shame that it only lasted one lap

Sorry to all of you fell off or crashed... But WAHEY 4th PLACE!!! Just knew I had to drive steady. Span every time I wanted to go faster and visited the Police Station once or twice Slow as treacle... but I got there... *edit H said in iGOR that I didn't know the track... shocking calumny. I prepared for this race with TWO whole laps. Sorry if I got in anyone's way. Nige, next time ignore me and take the Lotus... 80mph average - no wonder I only got into 4th once

That was a very unforgiving track! For some reason I couldn't get comfortable in my chair so I decided to swap it. I spent most of praccy fumbling about trying to get everything set up so I didn't manage a single full lap! Anyway I knew I'd be well off pole so I decided to drive steadily and try and pick up a few places. The plan worked very well and before long I was in 4th place with some very quick guys behind trying to recover from various incidents. I had Evil behind me at one stage and he must have had the fright of his life when I braked for a corner that he obviously takes flat! There was no point in trying to race him as I'd have run the risk of taking us both out because my lines were so much slower than his, so I pulled over and let him past at the banked right hander. From then on it was just a matter of trying to stay on the tarmac, easier said than done. I bent my suspension on a fence somewhere around lap 2 and after a couple more glances off the odd straw bale and tree the car was handling quite badly . Nevertheless managed to get it to the finish and claim a rare podium Unlucky Ronnie, I though you had 3rd place sown up. The champagne tastes great .

Kept getting lost in the countryside , nien duetchen sprachen so calling in at the local cop shop to ask the politzen was a waste of time, even though I tried on every outlap during qually Race was over when I left a wheel in someones garden fence on lap 2 Went to the pub for a Frankfurter but couldn't find Frank anywhere Next time I take Thomas Tom with me Grats to all 3 finishers esp. Phil for overcoming all odds and to Paul for his persaverance Not forgetting Hristo for yet another tiresome drive cough! erm! great win

What a great challenge! It took several attempts, to accustom to the Servers affects on ye handling, but once dialed in, I settled for my first timed lap. The plan was, to find some clean air at the start, and avoid studying the internal components of those around me. It all worked out perfectly, right up to lap 2. Rounding a curve in the fast uphill section, the racing line was to hug the guard rail to the right. But the rail had other ideas. It suddenly flung me left, across a field, and into a fence! I managed to hang onto my extremities, and continued on, but the motor was gutted, umm . . . gutless - the power was gone. And, unable to steer with the tail, I soon became another victim to the trees. I went back, to take another look at what had happened, and while rounding the bend, a tree had reached through the armco, and biffed me! So, another sad ending, to a race I'd looked forward to. One seems to be having trouble making the finish line in 1966. But I'd rather go out in a blaze of glory, or perhaps a glorious blaze, than to trundle on a scenic countryside jaunt, or succumb to an unforeseen hazard. Annoying, the builder of such a track, should fail to cut down a tree, On Sunday I was miffed, then on Tuesday, biffed - felled by a mischievous spree!

Wish this championship had started 3 races ago... I'd still be in with a shout...
Spa is not exactly a car eater although there is plenty of chances for racing incidents so I am not hopeful of a high finish there but I would hope to finish. Zandvoort - not my favourite but plenty of chances for T1 incidents that will propel me up the leader board. I could still get a top ten finish by lapping at an average of 133%...
Goran reckons next year it will be a 95% rule to score (I think he was joking), which would mean lapping at 110% or so. Might have to get a bit better...
Well done to H who has secured the championship barring the race result being overturned in modding.

Tim I lost the RF wheel after you at the very same invisible wall during the same lap I wasn't aware of that tiil the folowing turn when the car spun cause when I lost the wheel the car went straight on unaffected I tried to do another lap with 3 wheels, is this covered by rules ??, till I lost the RR wheel on a tree Very though track for my eyes with those sharping graphics, a bit like Hocken67, anyone suffered of that?, and very difficult to learn when you join with 15 min. to go and you realise that it isn't the track you had thought to race Ciao I lost the rear end in one of the cobbled sections - I think Raoni lost control trying to avoid rear-ending me and went into the barriers ending his race (Sorry Raoni), sod's law then stepped in and I lost a wheel to an invisible tree 3 or 4 corners later Schottenring isn't a safe place to trumdle about on 3 wheels so I parked her up in a field and quit Well done to anyone who finishes!

A little gutted to blow an engine rather than bury the car in trees to end my race here. Lovely track and at least I made over half distance to pick up some points. Due to the retirements ahead of me I soon found myself in second with no hope in hell of catching Hristo who was flying! However Goran in third was keeping me honest and I pushed a little too hard on the gas to keep him at bay and bang that was that. Grats to the podium and that man in fourth, name escapes me........, but well done......... Paul.
