Cars allowed: Any car from SuperGT Mod v3.0 - Available to download from here - We will also be using the UKGTR GT500 skin pack v2.14.0.1. Available HERE
Track: Kyalami 2005 (v1.0.0.0) (download from here).
Race Start Time: 14:00

Weather: DRY.

Tyre wear: normal.
Fuel consumption: normal.
Pit Stops: None required.

Server: simracing.org.uk SGT

Notes:
(1) Please make sure you are fully aware of the UKGTR Rules - especially the speed limiter starting procedure and the rules about in-game chat messages.
(2) Driver lists can be found on the championship standings page
(3) You will not be able to join the server without the car physics pack and track (see links above).
(4) Drivers may only change car once in the season without penalty.
(5) Drivers are reminded that they must select ISDN as their bandwidth, otherwise the stability of everyone's connection will be reduced.
(6) Please use the Driver Details page to ensure that the league management software has your correct GTR2 'Driving Name' (not necessarily the same as your lobby name).
(7) The server will be set to 26 slots, not 28.

I will try again at this one...missed the last one unfortunately.

What range of times are we expecting here? I dont know the circuit yet....only done half a doz laps....and getting around 1:37's

Fun wee track i thinks. I just managed to hit a 1:36.084 with the Honda HSV-10.
Ill keep trying to get that better but dont think i will.

EDIT:
Ok with a few tweeks to setup i have now got a 1:34.267 dunno if thats good but im happy with it lol.

but as the last 2 races show i end up qualifying about 4 or 5 seconds slower than 1st.

EDIT:
Last practice before sunday. 1:33.963. I am consistently getting between that and 1:35.500 so yeh that will so me :-)

hmm.. tricky round here. They dont feel that quick here either, too many slow corners.

Managed to just get into the 34's but that last section is killing me, too many laps have been ruined by breaking into the righthander before the chicane.

last chicane is a nightmare can probly make 1s on that part alone.

Race is set to 25 laps, first post updated. (This track ends the races early with timed races).

35s for me at the moment but, I hope to get a little faster before the race.

It would be good to see you on track again if you can make it Psuedo.

I am pretty sure that very high wing (possibly maximum settings) is the way to go with these cars once again. Although I am over heating my front tyres a bit by doing so.

On the 2nd from last corner (the fiddly right - left chicane) do not ride the inside curb on the right turn (curb on the right as you turn right) it can beach, roll and even flip the car if you take too much curb so watch out for that tonight drivers, especially when we are racing.

If your ride height is too low you can still get beached on that chicane even without riding the curb heavily.

A word of warning to those who have not yet been on here. All the kerbs are lethal. you hit them wrong and you will spin.

I had the same problem, due to not having the skin pack installed. Lucky for me I managed to get it sorted in time for the race.


Regards the race, gaps to car in front & behind were both growing so called it a night.
On a side note, I'm not convinced about this track & GTR2, think that with all the bumps & dodgy kerbs that it should be kept for PnG only.

i did install the skin pack but it said that i dont have the gt500 mod so i dunno what happened. was working fine all day till about 8ish
