This event will be our full length GP race for this season.

We still need to sort out the event announcements, so please ensure that you practise at the 1988 version of Monza as in the actual event post.

So roughly how long will the race likely be? (i.e. your laptime x 51)

Approx 70 minutes. I purposely picked a classic track with a shorter duration  Wink

Ok, rebooted, no change. Tried a modern version on another server and it runs fine. Could someone else check to see how it runs for them?

I was having no problems when I tried it last night with my new GTX460 card. When I tested the track for this series, I was using the HD5850 and also had no problems  Huh

If you've already tried reinstalling the track, maybe there is some background process or something in your GTR2 installation which clashes.

Right sorted it by doing a fresh install just for F188, not sure what was in the orig GTR2 install, but it didn't like it lol

GT, would it be difficult to add a 3rd column to this table each week? One that shows the ballast change from the last event? (i.e. +50 for Spanner because he was 2nd & -40 for me because I was rubbish laugh)

Lovely combo, love that early double chicane Cool (which is lucky, as I've booked half a night off work to attend smartass)

Managed a 1:30.5 race setup, which seemed to be about in the middle of the others I saw (who were upto +/-2 secs either side).

I could do that mate, but tbh I'm already finding the series admin heavy as it is. The information is there for drivers who wish to work it out....they need only look back to the previous race to compare the ballast.

https://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?topic=9737.msg177318#msg177318

Don't forget folks that the ballast is worked out by combining the finishing positions of the previous 2 races that drivers participated in. For instance Spanner is carrying +60 here at Monza for coming 2nd at Spa (+50) and 5th at Hungaroring (+10).

You do realise of course, this is all just a ploy by Legzy to distract me from my practising  laugh

1:30.592 race setup so far in my illegitimate offspring of an Italian/Swiss dream.
