Any idea how long this race is going to be or how long a lap takes so I can work it out?

1:21.216 was the official race lap time back in '88 - so we're looking at 55mins race

1:21.216 was the official race lap time back in '88 - so we're looking at 55mins race Well I'm beating the RL laptime but only by a second or so, so yes 55 minutes should be about right. There are a few places around the track that could easily end your race well before that though. The curbs are lethal and are to be avoided, particularly the ones through the fast right hand kink before the long straight. I'm having to shift down to make sure I get through there consistently.

Am on lates & sadly that length probably just pushes it out of my reach to attend (fitting it in my "lunch" hour). Shame, as I think I'd have comfortably done Spanner for 3rd in the Championships

Crikey at this rate I'll be on the pody.
This is the last race in the series and the last I'll be organising. Still haven't heard for sure if anyone is taking this on for next season yet. If no-one steps up, I have an idea for continuing Tuesday nights with another mod which won't take up so much admin time for me. Let's see what happens.
