Guys,
the 1st thing of all to do in case of connection problems is...to disable temporarily anything that could be a problem, it means Antiviruses, Firewalles and so on and to try to connect. If the connection is enabled it obviously means one of those programs you've shutdown creates a block and then you may concentrate to solve that problem enabling one program at a time and retesting the connection with that software enabling some ports or creating an exception. If you doesn't do this, it is quiet simply you will get troubles because it seems sometning is functioning while it is not and vice-versa.

Anyway, when I'm onlyne hosting, did you see my server pings ?

Thanks.

If they could connect to some servers, but not others, then it sounds more like ISP issue, blocking connections to certain locations.

Not all servers have the same settings by default and those could also depends on the region you've bought the device.
Just yesterday evening after I hosted a little PSC session at Surfers Paradise, one of ours pilots told me on iGOR he could not join my server, so I told him just what I wrote early (shutdown the Firewall and the Antivirus) and then...I've seen him showing up inside my server as well. In many cases, Firewalles and Antiviruses generates problems hosting a session or joining to another one so please start form this guideline to discover connection problems. Once we are secure firewall and Antivirus are not involved, then we will make the next step taking a watch to the hosting router's settings.

Other problems did occur to me when last season I had to join for the first few PSC's races. Usually I could join but...immediately before to race I cold not join anyore. Fortunately the managers made the correct thing enabling me to join the UKGPL server.

Thanks for the advice guys.

I was actually thinking that the issue was with VROC and whatever changes vrocip.exe did, since all was fine before that and not after.  Nothing has changed with my firewall or antivirus, hence I'd have thought they wouldn't be at fault.  Sounds like you guys know a fair bit more about computers and all that than I do though...and I am listening honest  Grin.

I'll take some time tonight to mess about with things, hopefully I won't make anything worse!!

Cheers,

Bob.

P.S What obscene time are you down to at Surfers Sergio?

You're making me laughing a lot Bob but, unfortunately I'm still at 1:11 low and I've some hope to go down to 1:10 as well practicing a lill more and trimming well the setup, gears the most. Anyway it is a pleasure to drive a Porsche!!!  Cheesy

Actually and for what I know, we have only 1 pilot at 1:10.xx, Juha.
