As there were a few niggles with the rFactor fun race a few weeks ago, Will there be any chance of a practice fun race in a day or two just to make sure it all goes smoothly this time Grin.
I'll host a race tomorrow afternoon and friday afternoon and post on here when its up if anyone is about.
If any problems show up we can iron them out in advance. Smiley

This mod and this mod alone has single-handidly restored my faith in rFactor, brilliant stuff. Will definitely join in if I'm about on the 3rd Smiley

Wouldn't go that far Paul, but it's certainly the best reason to blow off the dust covering rFactor up and give it a go once more.  Cool

I bet there was more dust on my copy that anyone elses! Hadn't touched it since about week 3 after purchase!
The more I drive the Porsches, the more depth I discover. It's exactly the kind of rewarding driving feel that the GTR/GTL's of this world have and something rFactor and all of the mods for it have lacked for me so far. This mod shows it's not a limitation with the game itself but with ISI's poor standard car offerings, thankfully.

I know what you mean, I'm running my Porsche. ever so slightly too low, and when you hit big bumps your really aware the rear of the car is slapping on the ground, much more than anything else I've every played.

Maybe it's the setup but I'm find the back end comes round in odd situations where you wouldn't expect it. I know it's a 911, but even so, I'm not convinved about the back-end characteristics. Anyone got a better setup?

Kinda glad the Aliens are having a problem also.
I have problems when I change down to 2nd gear it spins me every time. The only way I have found to control it is to give it a blip of gas as you brake and change down. Miss it and it's gone. Damned hard to drive. Any Gurus out there with any ideas for me Huh

I've experienced this too, and am in the proccess of learning/driving around it. It's as if the car has say... about 800 ft/lbs of torque at about 500rpm with only 10% throttle.  Huh Shocked

But it could also be the wheel or settings that just need configuring properly  Smiley
