Thanks Mark J., I appreciate the advice. I was pretty far behind my next rival; so it didn't hurt my race any. I did try a few different strategies for letting a faster car lap me. I have read that running wide in a corner and letting a faster car pass on the inside is the best option. But I agree that I lost too much time going off-road.
The race was an uphill battle for me. I had limited practice, and just wanted to improve my pace during the race. I became distracted after the half-way point (real life), and unfortunately I could not keep it on the pavement. I'll try to redeem myself in the next round.
Welcome to the WSL Racing Team Mogget! The team is open to anyone interested. Only two people can score points for a team each race. I started the team because a number of people from the Tuesday league are also racing here on Thursdays. If anyone is interested in joining the WSL Racing Team, just send me a message, and I'll give you an invitation.
Thanks, W.C.
