I started the server this morning very early with all the cars as usual, I don't have time at the moment to test it. I have just restarted the server after the GT500 race. I'll have another look tommorow.

Yep. Me being dumb had dissallowed most cars not allowed them, sorry I was busy busy this weekend. I don;t have access to PG from work to know what series Cobras live in so I have just restarted server with all but IROCs available.

1:40.651 for me in the Roadster.
Similar for me in the coupe - oddly every different style of setup is resulting in nearly the same lap times! Need to try harder I think as the above time is hardly a 'consistent' one....

So anybody got a better setup? With the default one, I'm doing 1.44-45.

Best so far is a 40.7, but mostly 43's and some 42's. I also mess with setups, and ended up back at my "easy listening" standard big metal setup. The default understeers too much for me I set diff to 30 power 10 coast. front soft as poss rear hard as poss. I made the rear arb a bit softer than max. I am not a fan of Cobras, I usually choose anything else rather than drive them, I like porkas a bit less but not much. A 40s lap here for me requires lots of flicking the tail into corners, and power slides out which I can do once in a while, but hardly consistent. Is more of a "controlled crash" that somehow stays on track...

Have dipped into the 39s and understand that pole could be in the 38s.
Better string a few more controlled crashes to gether Matt.

Ha! I will not be on pole however hard I try, for me qual is more about making it so I get mugged by less people at the start than if I was at the rear (which is often a safer place to be) I think there may be a lot of wall/other car contact. I hope to be around at the end sweeping up. of course I could get swept up by the street cleaner and not finish lap 1.... I am confident I will not be able to maintain the slidey tailhappyness required for a quick lap for the whole race, so I will not be trying to. I have had the guys weld some roo bars to the front and rear as protection, my car looks more like a stock car (British variety) http://www.comp.co.uk/gallery/details.asp?gallery=Randall+Brisca+F2_0416

I can't join the server. As soon as the track loads I get message booted as a possible cheat and I'm dropped from the server. I should mention that this is my first PnG online race. I installed PnG 2.0 into a dedicated GTR2 install, then installed 2.1 update. Don't know what the message is about.
