Password: see abovePractice: 19:30 (45 mins) Qual: 20:15 (15 mins)Race: 20:30 45 minutes + 1 lap Cars allowed: Ford Escort RS (Kunos Stock) Alfa Romeo GTAm ( V1.2 from Racedepartment - do NOT use the new 1.21 version! The server will be running V1.2.) *The Alfa has a requirement for the Stock Kuno's Alfa GTA from Dream Pack 1, If you don't have that pack and suffer CTD when loading the car then you need that pack. * Skin pack: Download it here - if you extract it into your Assetto Corsa directory (xx:/.../steamapps/common/assettocorsa) it should put everything in the right place. Track: Sportsland Sugo Download: https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/sportsland-sugo.9683/
VERY IMPORTANT UPDATE! There is a bug in the pitlane that results in 2 very large holes in the tarmac - a fix can be found here = https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/sportsland-sugo-1-0-pitlane-fix.22890/, make sure you install it prior to the race or you'll likely fall to your doom!
The default cameras are a bit rubbish so you'll want these as well - they need to go into your "xx:\x-Steam location - x\assettocorsa\content\tracks\sportsland_sugo\data" folder, they shouldn't overwrite anything unless you already have extra camera's. https://www.dropbox.com/s/z3z6j7g1kd7ordy/Sportsland%20SUGO%E3%80%80cameras.7z?dl=0

I'm having a strange issue with the server. When I go to the car gear controls don't respond. I can can not change gears up or down. If I press the throttle, car revs up. Offline, or other cars/tracks online works normally. It just started happening last night, and it was still present when I tried it just now. Anybody else experiencing this?

Hi Syd - that was an odd one. The server was stuck in the end session state for some reason - I restarted the session and all was good again. For some reason qualifying was at 8am though, not specified by me so I've also restarted the server - should be fine now

This is another tough track that needs a lot of learning. I seem to remember racing this in GTL many moons ago which doesn't help me at all

not a fan of this track but maybe it'll be more fun with a grid of cars. I Don't get why track modders put these daft ramped high kerbs in. i'd prefer to be racing these cars on fab historic club circuits tbh.

BEWARE OF THE PIT LANE!!!!!!
In the middle of the pit lane, between the two sets of pit-bays, is a dark section of tarmac.
THE TARMAC IS A LIE!!!!!
If you try and drive on said piece of tarmac you'll drop through it and that's the end of that.

Despite looking a bit "Mickey Mouse" on the way out of the pits (and the aforementioned mid-pitlane tarmac trap) I actually quite like this one too. Those big kerbs can make it interesting, but overall it's got a decent flow to it.

I briefly tried the track. It' good fun. Would be perfect for a couple of pandem R32 and slide fun.

Odd, I've seen reference to a hole but even in previous testing here years back have never found it. There's a fix for it available, but that might require us to revert to an older version as it pressures the latest update. I foolishly thought it would have been addressed by an update released a year or more after the issue was first mentioned As for the kerbs, Sugo is famous for them so i'd be upset if they weren't there!

It's easily avoided - but shouldn't need to be. That said ... I don't know how easy it would be to exit the bay before the hole, or enter the one before it ...

As per the discussion on Race Department, the hole is between the 16th and 17th pit bays. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zs0lB2ojELc&feature=youtu.beIf you're in the 16th, you're probably completely knackered - you'll likely have to reverse into your pit bay. If you're in the 17th, entry is no issue, but getting out will need you to go hard left. With 19 in attendance at Vallelunga, and 17 at Luccaring, we've got to expect that these bays will both be needed and IMHO this means we can't use the track in its current state.

Would not be wanting to to put a lot of practice in to this track for that to happen, was bad enough last week after hours of practice only for my internet to drop on first bloody corner. I'm usually about that position on grid as it happens.
