two exciting races for me, tried to avoid hitting people in both starts but got tangled up with several people in both, hard to tell whos fault it is half the time when the cars are so bunched up, but was good to see a big grid!
my PC was playing up during the evening, I had a small screen freeze during the first race, then with about 3 laps to go in the second race I got a black screen for about five seconds then it switched to two screens instead of three, and I had some steering damage so I limped home, shame as I lost about 5 places

what was really encouraging last night was that the majority of the grid were trading laptimes closely, it was great to see, but also maybe that was why there were too many close contacts. It was also pleasing that even if you did run off or spin, there was still a chance to catch other cars and have a race. I thought that once you lost the pack in one of these your race would be effectively over...not so RE Crewchief, when you fire up the app (before opening AC) are you selecting 'AC 64bit' from the list and then hitting 'start application'? you should be greeted with an audio message saying 'radio check'. I've been using it a while now and its great. Love it when he gets huffy with me if I lose a place

Sorry for contact in race 2 Stephen, my bad, cold fronts did not bite at all...

I reckon CrewChief is using the wrong audio device but I can't see a way to change it.

Races are temporarily 'official' (I.E. moderation locked) while I try and fix my muck up with the links to the season table. Normal service and court links should resume shortly Thanks for the replay Max - not convinced I have space to host it at the min

Thanks Max, but for some reason I see it like it's night and all dark so I can see nothing... strange.

CrewChief works perfectly for me in iRacing but doesn't in AC, seems to be a bit fickle. Sorry guys, sat it out last night, my office get a bit too toasty when its as warm as this. Regards Gary

Maybe it's because I have the shader patch from content manager? I don't know... A little postcard from the track, the battle on the straight with Tim and Max, lots of fun.

Enable it, save the profile, go back to main UI and you should have the option to change the playback device just below the message volume. I have 3 playback devices and can choose the one i want even if its different from the windows default audio device. Allways work perfect here. Hope this helps you.

Thanks for the tip, I'll try it out tonight. Hi Pete, its Gary T from the old UKGPL days. CrewChief works perfectly for me in iRacing but doesn't in AC, seems to be a bit fickle.
I did have some success with RRE last night so making progress Gary how come there's no racing history for you from those GPL days? I see I've been racing here now for over 20 years!
