That was much better than I expected, got a much better time in qually than on Sunday night, lost a spot in the opening laps to one of the hard-charging RVS Moslers, had to battle with them and with Ossie's cwazy toothpaste M3, had to let Shark's better set up 350Z by early on.
Glad I took mediums all round as the car was nice an consistent through the whole event. A second 4th... I'll settle for that!

Good result for team Shark in GTC 1st-4th Did a PB in qually and got pole in class and 7th overall. The Beamer of Adam was impossible to gain and I had no chance to move up the grid. So I had to focus on Colin in his RSR behind me. Very close racing for few laps untill he made a textbook outbraking manouvre . Then Zacari was behind me gaining fast, but luckily for me the race stopped at 21 laps. Grats to Mo for the overall and GT2 win. I'll struggle badly at Adria with the Mosler and all the extra weight

Sorry Mr BMW sir that was me being a ****. Surprised you hit me though I was losing it, catching it, losing it for some while until the armco put paid to any final chance of recovery. I am a muppet Rest of race was following the cars a lap up on me, getting close and then losing it under braking. Back to my slow setup for Sunday I think.

B'ah another lacklustre performance from me at monza Qualied 11th, finished 10th after dropping two places to bloody sharks The car felt fine for 25 mins chasing colin H and ruskus hard for lap after lap, quite enjoying myself, then i merely touch the kerb apex as usual at 2nd lesmos and it pulls me into a slow spin. Zacari got past me then and i lost 8 seconds. Then with about 10 mins to go my tyres just feel like ice at the chicanes and i have to tiptoe through every time until i had another poxy spin, allowing shark past But i wasnt having Shark beat me in a GTC so chased him like the devil (apart from the tippytoe chicanes ) and got my 10th place back using the porkers grunt and a good toe down the s/f straight to breeze past. Really struggle at Monza, never found a setup that handles those kerbs right. If anyone has one for the Porsche, please donate it to a cluelesshomeless Legend as it pains me no end to not be competitive here in a 911. Well done to my teamies Ad and TT, and congrats to the podium guys

Was really happy with a top 10 qually. Made a decent start and the car felt really good so I concentrated on getting a good pace together. Tyres were starting to go on the last few laps and missed my line a few times allowing Jeffery to get close again. Managed to hold on the a rather pleasing 7th! Congrats to Mo and the podium. And you Jeff for the GTC class win. Some driving in the Mosser.

Did ok in quali but made too many mistakes to get near my pb, so 'cos I detonated my Mosler V8 last time out I went all girly with the rev limiter......and didn't it cost me! Got eaten alive on the straights then took too many grededy grabs at the kerbs and got my chops slapped with a big wet kipper, luckily managed to miss most of the armco but car was a pig to get to turn in after and couldn't stop the sharks mugging me...damn and blast! Still at least Dan and i finished!

Finally had a bad race (no great surprise at Monza). Lap 1 I had stuttering at every corner, just at the wrong time, and this was playing havoc with my corner exits. I got gobbled up by Colin, and then on the approach to T1 on lap 2 I was watching the guys behind so hard that I missed my braking point by miles. The only option was to whizz past on the escape road, which gave me an instant stop/go, so I kept going knowing that I wouldn't ultimately gain places. I didn't want to hold anyone up though, so I let Jeff through, and then a couple more cars into the 2nd chicane, but it was a bit messy getting through it offline and down on speed - sorry Zacari if I held you up. After the stop go I was miles back, but I was gaining hand over fist on Rob, until I pushed a bit too hard and got a second stop/go. That was race over, so the rest was a test session for next sunday. Congrats to Mo for the GT2 win and Jeff in GTC. At least this means I lose most of the ballast

Most ... consistent ... race .... ever. Did about as well as I could in qually. Without the ballast I might have been challenging for the pole, but got 7th in the end. (TT you bugger - pipping me by a tenth with your last bloody lap!!!!!!) I was very happy to qualify in front of Ruskus in the Mosler - that thing was made for Monza - it's bloody quick. I did fear that I'd lost touch with the leaders through defending for my life..... ...but I'm happy to report Ruskus was never a threat (blimey - never expected to be typing that! ). I was pulling out a few tenths each lap on him, and similarly the guys in front were pulling away from me at about the same pace. That meant I had no overtaking to do apart from backmarkers - and there were no problems at all with them - cheers guys, you made it really easy. Still, to lap for 40 minutes with all my laps within a second - that's massively consistent and that's the most pleasing thing. I wasn't under threat of losing position unless I cocked up, so although the pressure was off I never lost focus as I have done in the past. Although I got close to 5th through his getting held up with backmarkers or screwing up T1 - I never looked like making up a place. Pretty dull race as racing goes - but I'm really pleased with it from a driving standpoint. After the crap race in the Morgan in the Upper Enduro for everything to go so well was huge. Also, given that I'll have a much lighter M3 for the race on Sunday - a good finish is looking possible. Unlucky on the disco Darren - it really isn't your season is it!

Erm - looking at the results my ballast is showing as -20kg for the driver? As I finished 3rd in class at Valencia shouldn't that be a positive value?
[EDIT] Or is that a typo? I was slower than I was offline by a good second - and I could have sworn it looked right in game?

I was very happy to qualify in front of Ruskus in the Mosler - that thing was made for Monza - it's bloody quick.
Well it's not really . I was doing 172 mph, and Carl's TVR was going 280kph. Also the 350Z is just as quick. And I was even running wing 1-2, so I couln't win much more. That disappointed me a bit, thought the car was a beast down the straight.

Of course I meant it's quick it your hands . I was only hitting 176 offline, and was nowhere near that tonight with the changed weight.
