Ran with 1/1 for the race too, although I did qual on 1/2. I think its a bit quicker overall with one click more on the rear, but a bit risky on the straights with a porker behind as you say

Nail... head... hit...
No looking at lap times, doing fuel calculations in my head, looking at the gap to the car behind. In my case its, Nail... Head... Armco... Hit... this is probably the exact problem I suffer. Far too concerned with what everyone else is doing to worry about what I'm doing myself.

I had Carl behind to keep me focussed, but notmally when I'm alone I try to beat my best lap, even if I know it's impossible on worn tires. It keeps me a bit focussed.

but normally when I'm alone I try to beat my best lap,
When I try that I usually go off. Probably why I don't qualifying well either.

To finish first, first you must have fins.

Who's Carl? That'll be the imaginary friend that spurs Ruskus on to going so blinking fast

Who's Carl? That'll be the imaginary friend that spurs Ruskus on to going so blinking fast Carl a.k.a Zacari . I haven't reached Legends' age to see imaginary friends yet.

Maybe a tip for getting faster: Imagine your wife running away with another guy, and the car behind you trying to return her to you .

I haven't reached Legends' age to see imaginary friends yet. Nah - the problem the Legends have isn't poor eyesight, or imaginary friends .... it's all the cigar smoke in the cockpit......

Was I not behind you Ruskus..... Yes for the first part, but the 2nd half I had Zacari behind me, gaining fast in his TVR. I knew I could never keep you behind me for the whole race and it was just a metter of time untill you came past...which you did in a very good way.
