UKGTL Season 14 Christmas Special Part Two The Sprints Christmas Special Standings here Grid/server capacity: 28 (we run on the Altbierbuden Lobby) RACE ONETrack: Rouen '55 Download thisCars allowed: Any standard TC-65 car Practice: ~19:00 (60 mins) Qualifying: 20:00 (10 mins) Race: 20:10 (8 laps) Only one lap allowed to set a time in qualifying. So drivers must take one out lap then one hot lap.Car restrictions: None Time of Day Setting: 14:00 Start: STANDING Tyre wear: Normal Fuel consumption: Normal Pit stops: Normal Server: simracing.org.uk Monday Password: see aboveNotes: (1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage. (2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules. (3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read Autopit="0" Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable. Special Notes: Note earlier qualifying start time.

Tony, race 2, with 'Car restrictions: none', does that mean ANY car (we've used before ?), or any STANDARD car ?
Cheers, Erling

Tony, I'm still confused Race announcement says 'Race one', which along with the earlier start time and shortened qualify, indicates that there must be at least two races, but where is the description of the second one ? Cheers, Erling

I DID think I had seen three races earlier, but couldn't find the other two, so started to believe I had been hallucinating... Anyway, thanks for clearing it up - and for putting the thumbscrews on for next week Cheers, Erling

Please be advised that the 10 mins practise time will have to include lobby wait time whilst the server is reset.

My PC ran for 4 & a half hours yesterday whilst I backed up PC and grandson surfed etc. I switched it off so hopefully I should be OK for this sprint.

A question (from another Dane, hehe Erling) On paper, Falcon should be the fastest in Rouen...but it is allowed to switch to eg Alfa GTA in the next race...& again for the third race Hik...too much Red Aalborg in this Christmas ...but we continue today Hot lap qualifying added. devil I think GTC times becomes hard to beat with TC cars
