Not a race to remember In the first 2 laps I ruined my suspension. Car became undrivable but because I just wanted to have some fun I went for a pitstop that lasted 2 minutes... First lap out I ruined my suspension again in the same corner as earlier, stupid me. That was too much for me and quit the race. There goes my championship Early days mate, early days

Great race Qualified P2 to Geoff which felt really good as Geoff is the Mini master. Dropped to P4 off the start then I'm not sure who hit me but my car was roof bound. Then hammered it to get back to P2. Sorry for any slight contact on the way Phil & Tibs I brake very late into the chicane and T-last. I then found Geoff had spun just before T-last and result I'm P1. Now for a little race management.....bugger tyres half gone and its only lap ten. Then no surprise around lap sixteen Geoff is catching. We had a great battle with me doggedly holding my line but tyres fadding fast. Geoff eventually late braked the chicane and beached but this through my concentration and I went off a few bends later allowing Phil & Tibs through whom must have thought Christmas had come early. Lap 21 and Geoff is back again this time taking no prisoners and I'm running on canvas any way. A few more laps and Ade would have caught me I think Finished P4 what a disaster. Congrates to Geoff, Phil and Tibs well done guys and well deserved.......good things come to those whom wait!! PS what happened to Tony?

Sympathise with Sandor. Had quite a few good races, for me, then I had spate of problems with that Mini. All of a sudden all the kerbs started attacking it, throwing it into walls, Armco, other cars, they just didn't care. After a number of DNFs I stopped using it, too tempermental and fragile. Still it's no longer there now as a choice.
Had my usual race, made a good start avoided the T1 problems overtaking a few cars then had a mad disco session at T2 - braked and turned in too late, each attempt to spin car to right direction went too far and driving on the grass was like ice. Eventually got back on track and had a steady drive to the finished. Was lapped twice by winner due to discoing and being particularly kind to overtakers - virtually parked to let a loose train of Minis through so as not to bulk anyone.
At least I finished and set new PB qualifying so night wasn't a complete disaster.

Unofficial LapChartWas caught up in the T1 issues and rejoined at the back. Managed to overtake Bill (nice car choice!) and then followed a white car Pitboard didn't seem to indicate any cars running in front of me but managed to keep track of the phantom car. Looking at the results I know realise it was Tony in the (underrated?) Volvo... Shame that we had such a big gap in the beginning because we had a comparable pace (although you were slightly quicker). Too bad that you got a disco. You really deserved a good finish. Saw the AustinTrain come by in the last laps.. must have been a helluva fight . Congrats.

If so I had the same problem a few weeks ago particularly with P&G. The PC would black screen then the screen would reappear some 5 sec's later and by this time I was off track. I have found if I edit the power setting on the PC to ON all the time and never sleep or power down it solves the problem.

Its always a pleasure to race with you Bill but it is really not necessary to park up. Its all part of racing passing back markers if the front runners get held up a little I'm afraid that's part of racing. Its your evening's fun as well as everyone elses, have fun stay on your pace and stay on your racing line, its much easier to pass you that way.

Agree with what Mark said, there is no need to park up & let the faster guys past Bill, just stick to your racing line in the corners & they will find a way past. Was a really fun race. Got a bit of a lead at the start but then threw it away with a spin about lap 6. I was keeping too much of an eye on the left rear tyre temp, which was almost permanently in the red, & not concentrating enough on where I was going . The tyre temp must have been due to the fuel load as later in the race it was fine. Caught back up with the Minis at the front, passed Tibs & Phil but struggled to find a way past Mark. Nearly got past at the chicane twice, but both times messed up the braking, spun the second time. Thought I'd lost all chance of a win then, but the other Minis all seemed to be struggling for pace by that stage, whereas mine was almost as quick as at the beginning. Must have hit on a more forgiving setup . So managed to reel in Mark (after his spin), Tibs & Phil & nicked the win in the last couple of laps. Congrats to Phil & Tibs & thanks to both & Mark for a good race . Also cheers to Ade who very kindly waved me past after my first spin

Thanks for your comments Mark and Geoffers, that is how I always drive when I'm in a competitive race ie have a position to lose or gain. But when like last night, I'm 20 to 30 secs down on the car if front and losing a sec or two a lap, with no one behind; I don't think it's right to spoil other driver's races. When I approach a windy bit, and I see a loose train of say 3 or more cars covered by say 5 secs, I know the leader can pass but the rest will lose time behind me until they find a place to overtake and lose valueable time, I Will move over slow to a crawl or stop, track conditions permitting of course - fair play and all that.
At that stage my race is against myself, trying to take the right line and keep lap times up as high as possible. Sometimes I even get a PB - what's one ruined lap in that situation?

Pelle. Is your PC running on Win7? If so I had the same problem a few weeks ago particularly with P&G. The PC would black screen then the screen would reappear some 5 sec's later and by this time I was off track. I have found if I edit the power setting on the PC to ON all the time and never sleep or power down it solves the problem. Yes Win7 x64. My screen turns off after 10 mins (no screensaver) & my hard drives are on 'never'. Think this is the first time I see it & have suspected for a Nero 10 installation, same day before race. After I watched my replay, I'm glad that the screen went black...Tony drove right through me ...but when I get picture back, I am in the sand & see a lot of cars flying around, I had no idea what I was guilty of @Bill: Whatever you drive...I always try to give you a greeting with lights

I have now watched the replay and besides Pelle's misshap the really odd thing is why Mark's mini went skybound at the first turn? He isn't hit and doesn't appear to drive into anyone.
