I wish they'd stop doing that. This is supposed to be a racing sim. This is also supposed to be fun. I think there are some serious safety concerns driving without a helmet or fire proof garments, but what the heck as long as they sign the disclaimer.

I've just installed the LOD from the 1.2 version of Misano from here: http://www.altbierbude.de/So now I'll actually have a track map. So now we know what to blame when I win the next race. I know the track already, from the MotoGP. A very good choice, though I dread to think what it'll be like it a Cobra!

You'll learn to appreciate those things when you get older I used to spend ages trying to find a decent mod for Morrowind, only to find that most of it is like the loading screen for Misano. I suppose that's why I'll be using the altbierbude LOD instead. Personally I'm more interested in finding out if what the BBC say is true, and that the Dakar has been cancelled! BTW, I'm 18 on Sunday.

I don't think I'll be able to race in this one. :'( I'm getting motion sickness everytime I move, so no racing until it's over. I tried yesterday and I just can't race.

we discussed this on our team site, seems an odd combination of cars to choose from Am presuming they all set a roughly equal laptime despite varying so much in characteristics

TEEE VEEE AREEEE
Actually, I'm having a tough time setting it up, without totally destroying the tyres on turns. It's making some progress tho, and I love the roar of the engine.
I have a feeling the Elans will get pounded here unless put in the right hands, there are a few turns that the Elan can make some ground up on, but alot of turns are rather fast, and the Cobra and TVR can really fly out of those exits, and catch up on the straights if they make a mistake.
So far in offline practice, I'm peeling away from the Elans untill I hit T2 and the Last turn. The Gap I can build through the majority of the track is only allowing the Elans to start to smell the burning fuel before I take off again. Tough to say what will happen.

I hope the muscle cars have the edge at this track, as before the proper handling cars were always the quickest round.

After waiting for weeks to race the TVR, I get F'ed in the backside and I'm unable to attend tommorow.
Also, my attendance possibility looks pretty bad now for the rest of the season :'(

Thats a bugger Jeb/MJ the TVR is great fun around here, especially riding those high kerbes. In my hands it'll be slow but who cares? Find a way to attend

After deliberately staying away from the last couple of GTL races I may show up for this one. I really like the track, and I'm sorely tempted to give the Cobra a run out. I ran a few laps last night and was running alright in it, but ultimately it's a question of how busy I am this evening .... real life's increasingly getting in the way of the racing
