Only just got home and haven't had dinner yet or anything, so gonna have to miss this one. Hope it's good fun for you.
Remember just because the track is a bit like a rollercoaster doesn't mean you should do "no hands!"

Amazing fun. Qually went very poorly, forgot to put soft on till half way through & then it just didn't quite happen. Once the race settled down, I was behind SBG. I was about 1-2 seconds a lap quicker through the whole track till we came to the straight & he'd just eek out 0.5 secs time after time after time.... I'm not used to harassing somebody for that long, that close & was basically following closer then my skill level. I started getting frustrated (which is funny looking back because it was excellent) & had a good look down the inside of T3, where he was weakest & I was strongest, SBG closed the door (sensibly) & I had no where to go really, nicked the grass, span & nearly collected Ade who'd been catching us due to our battling (cost over 2secs on my last completed lap ). Tried to get going but had puncture & I'm certain a bunch of suspension damage etc, so quit out as it's not the kind of circuit you can roll round to the pits. Great track, great racing, well done SBG

Tough break MJ, you'd have enjoyed that. Thank gawd for that Legzy, I thought I had really peed you off The Bi-t feels brilliant, especially compared to the new GT2 911 which is awful in my eyes, but it does suffer from a "bit" of understeer. I was on the defensive from the off and if you thought I was holding you up, spare a thought for Ade. My fronts were completely gone after 20 laps. I quite enjoyed it but it would feel ruddy awful to do that for a real race, or maybe not Maybe that tracks just not good for racing? I would ask for the Bi-T to be made more competitive (it was 2 seconds off Lambo/430 times for me) but I guess its a lost cause. Congrats to the podium and you would never have passed me Dave

Mind wasn't really there tonight, forgot to load my quali set and then struggled to keep concentration during the race. Lost it early on through T2 and several times after until decided to esc as the leaders were closing in. Saw Spanner stuck on the kerb at the bottom of the hill at one point; would have given you a nudge but didn't think of it till I'd gone past. At least we could have had a race between us.

Qualified in 8th and had a great race, making back positions and was soon up to 3rd. Catching API and TT was really difficult though, I had a much powerful car but not good in those long corners. But when I caught API I could pass him in the back straight, having to defend in the next 4 or 5 corners, as he was all over me! Tried to do the same with TT, but unluckily after passing him I took too much kerb and made me slow down, this caught TT who had to avoid me and spun, but I kept the lead with API up to 2nd now. A few corners later I was still thinking about the unlucky incident, I lost concentration and went wide. Made me lose like 10-12 seconds and was in 3rd and with no chance to catch them again. Decided to retire with few laps to go. Grats podium great fight at the front

Wow! where did that come from!? I have been getting used to running down the order but for some reason I was on pace last night!? I asked Legzy to talk me through the set up for the Panoz for Zhuhai but never made the race. The set up was brilliant and with a few extra tweeks I was doing 1.18's so i thought that will do! Once I noticed I had been running with a full fuel tank and reduced it to race fuel i was even faster, then add softs and no fuel and I scrapped a 1.15.9 i think it was!? No one was more suprised than me! Straight forward race.... Gazza spun giving me 3rd but I didn't even notice that as I avoided Gazza, Busi had sneeked along side me from nowhere and I had to yield at the end of the straight. Was concerned about sbg behind but managed to pull away from him too!? Thats a first! Just concentrated on being my consistent self and after Busi's incident brought it home 3rd! Will be skipping all day! Thanks all, great track that! M.

That was a race of two halves for sure! Couldn't sort out the overheating left rear on soft/mediums so started on medium/hards and early doors was stuck behind Matt Rowe's big -bummed Beamer. Was bound to find a way through eventually, despite his attempts to muscle me off the track every time I got alongside , and after one abortive attempt when I got through on the run down to Moss only to slide off between the two parts, he returned the favour one or two laps later and I struck out after Ade and Ginsters. I'm guessing that they were on softer tyres - or using them much more heavily that I was - because from a steady gap of 12 seconds or so, the distance suddenly started to close. Unfortunately I threw away all my hard work but having another off in Moss, and despite continuing to reel the pair of them in at 2 seconds a lap, I needed another lap to catch them and then another couple to pass them. Picnic - I didn't realise you were in the 99 6 RSR, that was a great effort to finish so close behind in that old rustbucket.

Maybe that tracks just not good for racing? Your other line would seem to go against that... I was on the defensive from the off and if you thought I was holding you up, spare a thought for Ade. I could imagine that in an enduro here, if someone was then holding me up like you were last night, I'd have just pitted to get away from you. Slower car class could also make a bit of difference, might open up some extra opportunities? I would ask for the Bi-T to be made more competitive (it was 2 seconds off Lambo/430 times for me) but I guess its a lost cause. I forgot to mention that it was great seeing someone in a different Porka, I too would like to see the 'forgotten' porka's made level with the other cars in the class. and you would never have passed me Dave I agree (Ade & I couldn't do it over a whole race!)

Pole got me a bit optimistic and after a few laps I was sure I could keep API behind. The only sensible overtaking point is on a back straight and his car was slower there. Then Busi came from the back and his Panoz made one second better time on that straight alone. Even with half a second lead out of the Moss corner Busi passed me before the first right hander in the Esses. Then he took too much kerb and ... Had to brake inside the corner and since I was on the limit it was a spin in both cases. Got no damage but I lost over 5 seconds to API. Tried to get it back but I could only manage 0,2 per lap - great driving and consistency, API - and in the end I was still 2 seconds behind. It was a great chase, though. Grats to API and Blunder. About the track: since I was able to keep a minimum distance from API and Busi doesn't count I can't say I did any of the classical close racing. So: is this track good for racing or hotlaping only?
