I was looking forward to this one until I noticed the lap records. Tell me they are from the 03 and not the 04 revision of the track? Otherwise I'm a good bit behind.

Yes, they are from the 2003 version (and I think without the extra cutting checks of the UKGTR version too).

GT1s somewhere around 2.11 - 2.12 I reckon (could be a bit faster, but not sure as I don't do much GT1), and GTCs from about 2.21 - 2.22 in qual trim.

What version are we using this time 04? I'm at work so can't get on the practice server to see. If it's the 04 version I guess there will be a number of people with low 2.12 high 2.11 race pace.

Dunno about weighted cars, but as far as I know, normal GT1 cars can do 2:09's here and GT2 can do 2:17. But not taking weight into account. So add about 1-2s and lap and I say exactly the same thing as Paul and might as well have shut the h..l up

My estimate for GT1 cars was conservative so you are probably right that 2.10s or even 2.09s are possible, but the other one was for GTC, not GT2. 2.20s might be on, but I'd be surprised to see 2.19s.

Indeed about GTC's. In a normal 350Z I did a 2:20, so with better tires and less weight it'll be in the low 2:20's I guess.

It's doubtful I will manage any practice between now and sunday, so I better ask, what's the difference between the normal and UKGTR version? I did not think there was any corner cutting problems with 04 track. Also about lap times, jeff, are you saying 2.09 for race or qualifying? I hope qualifying as I can only do low 2.10 in qualifying at spa. On saying that after 2 disconnections and starting last at previous race and climbing up to 6th, my car will be light.

If you bite off a lot of green tarmac at the Bus Stop or in Eau Rouge you will get a cut warning.
