All members welcome. Grid/server capacity: 28 Practice: ~19:20 (60 mins) Qualifying: 20:20 (20 mins) Race: 20:40 (24 laps) Track: Buenos Aires GP Download thisCars allowed: Porsche 911 RSR 3.0 (substitute car Porsche 914-6 No.370), Boss 302 Ford Mustang Download this (substitute car De Tomaso Pantera No.86) ,VW Scirocco Download this, Alfa Romeo GTAm Download thisTime of Day Setting: 14:00 Start: STANDING Tyre wear: Normal Fuel consumption: Normal Server: simracing.org.uk GTC Password: see aboveNotes: (1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage. (2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules. (3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read Autopit="0" Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable. (4) Driver lists can be found on the Championship standings pageSpecial Notes: Free car choice this race only

A suggestion Tony as from the current announcement it looks like the cars are still being finalised for this series... As some of us hate the stang (that's me) and others aren't keen on the RSR, please could we have an extra car that we can choose in place of these? We could still limit the choice to 4 cars per driver and I'd even be happy to race at the back with one of Clive's "roller skates"

So, as the replacement car mustn't be seen as being better than the car it replaces, I would propose the following changes. Drivers who don't want to take the Porsche 911 RSR 3.0 may instead take the Porsche 914-6 No.370. And drivers who would prefer not to take the Boss Mustang, may instead choose the No.86 De Tomaso Pantera. BTW the cars are finalised. I'm just building up the tension by not revealing what the new cars will be, X Factor stylee.

279kW that equates to 399 hp in old units for us oldies still thinking and working in Imperial Units? MKS system works better in Electrial Enginering but can't get my head around it for Mechanical Engineering.

Only if you set it up that way, mine uses Imperial Units.

Tony, which of the 4 Sciroccos is eligible or are they all eligible? That Alfa is a beautiful car sounds and drives excellent - quickest car so far by over a second.
