I've always been a fan of trying new mods, but attendance fingers in this league as H@L has tried, has shown I'm in the minority. We always get our bigger grids with the tried & tested GT's. The thing is Mark, PnG3 is new & has growing enthusiasm, with new people trying it & looking for new places to race. While GTR2 is in its golden years with most people established racing in whatever league, looking more for the next Sim. That's not to say its not worth you spreading the word, picking up a couple more drivers would be great for us all (or doing some car testing with a view to adding a couple more cars)

2:20:8xx in F430. I'd be quite satisfied with it if there weren't that records there... Can you ask Dave to tuck them away someplace? Edit: 2:195xx with Gallardo. Would happily share my setups if anyone wants them.

Wanted to try something different, I think the Porka Bi-Turbo matches that description & so the race started with about 15 mins of Bi-Turbo driving under my belt to date Think I had the potential to have a good race with H@L & Prof, as I had the pace but I just lacked consistency. I did make one mistake where I caught too much kerb & got spat round early on, but other than that, I was somewhat mystified why as we entered the 2nd half of the race & my front tyre wear was higher than my rear, I was starting to suffer the old Porka rear-end coming round unpredictably syndrome . Was a shame, as I was trying to get back up the field, but everytime I caught people I went to overtake & span :'( Aah well, will play the setup a tad safer next race from what I've learnt.

My first league race for nearly two years. Nice to see many of the same people still racing.
I was shocked with my third in qualifying but then got mugged by Pete on the first uphill straight in the race (rather like Seb did to Lewis this afternoon). After that, I had the pleasure of watching the fast people disappearing whilst having no real pressure from those behind - I am sure that will change and there will be some close racing. The Ferrari seems to go round the corners nicely but seems to lack grunt in the fast bits I was never any good at setting cars up in the old days and don't expect to start understanding it any better now.
I shall try to attend more regularly this season in both divisions if I can.

Well, that was some of the most interesting racing in months. Initially, I have to apologize to Apex. A small touch was enough to get him to spin and Pete went through. I kind of like it that you won in the end, Apex. I did start a great racing in three, though. Positions were changed quite a a few times until power of porker and beemer left me for dead. Yes, F430 is underpowered. We'll see it on other tracks but I don't expect very much out of this car and just hope to mess things for others.
