What a treat this track is. Like Syd this has been a favorite of mine since the very beginnings of Sim racing. Finally got some proper practice time in last week and it paid off as I ..... what the.... pause.... A dog just walked into my house..... OK, my new neighbors dog just walked into my house. Cool little Terrier mix was smart enough to come to my house and not run into the street  Grin. Got him back to his home so all is well Wink. As I said it paid off as I got dialed into the track and my usual Cobra set seemed to be perfect for Spa. The race was even better as for the first time this year in this series I was able to get into full Robot mode and run consistant laps. Would of been nice to seen a few more 427's so Syd could of had someone to play with. I for one welcome any new players or otherwise to drive the top cars. The top points drivers in the championship will still be fighting among themselves so unlike another series you wont find me complaining about part time drivers or new drivers in this series. I would just ask of one thing that I would always do myself. To respect the drivers running in the top champ spots and maybe race them even cleaner than normal. Thanks to all that participated and big congrats to Syd for the win and to Mark for another solid pody Smiley.

If Race department are on it that's the Simbin lobby.

Trawl the Simbin forum. Under GTL there's a large thread about using the Simbin digital GTL to access the Altbierbude lobby. You may well spot the thing that still needs doing.

Smiley Qualified P3 on a 4.01........But an age away from Navin on his 3.58! in P2 Shocked I demand to see your set up.  Grin Syd was driving his own race in the 487 in P1.

Matt was in P4 but got the jump on me at the start. While Syd dropped back with wall issues!!  Grin

Tony was very racie on lap one and I thought it might be a 3 way battle between Matt, Tony and I.

I think Tony had a barrier moment mid lap and I started to draft Matt in his bright yellow Cobra.  Grin

This cracking battle between us was destined to go on for 6 fantastic laps.  Smiley Smiley

You would not believe the difference between two car set ups and driving styles.  Smiley

On certain parts of the track Matt was quicker and watching the replay his car seems much tighter and more together.  Cool

But I found I could out brake him most of the time!  Wink

My car also seemed to have more top speed on the straights probably because the tyres were at max-pressure and the gear ratios were set for top speed and rarely red lined  Grin Grin Unfortunately the game ended when Matt had a bank/ barrier mishap around lap 6. Sad Still it was great while it lasted Matt.....Many thanks.  Wink

Finished in P3 and found Syd and Navin already in the bar when I finished.  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
I do like this track but I always doze off forget which corner I am approaching and have an almighty off. So thanks for keeping me focused Matt......Great race guys.  Smiley Smiley

Business as usual  ended up in last place, could register my usual PB in lap 8,
but crashed in lap 9 and had to slow down in order to see the finish line.
Great track, fun to drive.

Wot Mark said.
I seemed slightly quicker in the race over a lap, even when I dropped back out of the tow, I could gain a small street
through Stavelot after Masta, and sometimes a bit through Masta kink. Mark was mostly a bit quicker through Eau Rouge
and the section before Burneville, I dropped back a couple of times when our different lines/braking would have made contact
but kept creeping back up behind until I got lazy and allowed the car to drift too far left after Stavelot and put a wheel on
the dirt causing a spin. Was, as Mark said extreeeem fun driving a few feet apart and sometimes side by side with occasional
passes at different places. Not sure who's conn it was, but I was keeping wide at times because I was seeing quite a bit
of warping for a while, didn;t really spoil the fun though  Grin
My setup was a modified version  of H's setup for the FIA at Virginia.
