Another race, another disco while in the lead, This time around lap 14-15 with a bit over 10 second lead.

I did wander what happened to you.

Thanks for a great race guys.

Well happy should have been 3rd then after Syd's disco I was aiming for 2nd then Oli made a mistake for me to get passed then I was on my limit, then another mistake from Oli then he left.

Chears folks see you next week.

Bad luck Postal.

You only get a 30 second window to join the race after the race session starts if you miss this then you can not join and will be disqualified.

Replay and results now posted.

I need to check the replay to verify wether Kurt passed me whilst I served a stop/go penalty

Gutted for you Syd, if it wasn't for bad luck you'd have no luck at all.

Postal, mate, when qually finishes you only get a short time to fuel up for the race then a countdown starts and if you haven't joined the grid by the time the countdown ends your DQ. And please fill in your Nationality in your profile please then we can give you a little flag in the race results.

Nice race.

Ran wide on lap 1 trying to leave room inside which scuppered any chance of fighting it out at the front. Had a good chase back and profited by others misfortunes and mistakes.

@ postal....don't be disheartened. My first race here in GTR2 was at Imola and I was left scratching my head in the garage as the rest of the field raced off the grid  Wink We all learn from our mistakes  Smiley

Very nice race, enjoyed that one, great circuit.

I managed to lead the first couple of laps but coming down to the Acque Minerale my screen went black. I let go of the wheel, swore a lot and was just about to tell Mrs W what had happened when the picture came back and I was slowly sliding sideway down the track. Fortunately Syd missed me and took the lead. I recovered and set off again.
Had some good tussles with Matt and GT and after various retirements had settled down to getting a fourth place. Then as I approached Tosa late in the race my brakes bit to hard and I slewed off to the left hitting the armco sideways on but hard. Then shot across the track to the RH side where I eventually came to rest right in the far corner of the barriers. And just to make things perfect I received a stop/go for cutting! Took penalty and finished race and well happy to get a third.

Well, that was quite disappointing yesterday for failing to join the race indeed. I was still out there doing my laps. How can i see that Q has ended then? If it wasnt for Tony i would still have kept going!
Anyway, i will keep a look out for others pitting during Q next time.
Thanks for having me.

Well qualy last's for 20 minutes. The race announcement says that. When you drive during qualy there is a countdown clock in the top left of the display. If you don't see it press "2" as this toggles your HUD. Maybe you have no dials showing?
XD also has a countdown clock so you can drive with the HUD off and just have XD on screen.

Alright, i didn't toggle through all the HUD options yet. And after several re- installs didn’t had XD installed yet either, my bad. I will do so now!
