Only car that doesn`t have "flipping" problem is Mini

I've only tried the Ferrari 250, but that wasn't flipping over at all. Maybe just wasn't going quick enough.. Felt very nice here though.

I haven't even looked at this track yet, but I suspect that I will be driving the Mini Cooper 1275S.

My biggest decision is which server to use.....
Our paid for one which has been giving lots of people issues over the past few months
or mine that worked perfectly one week, (actually better than the real server) but struggled with Mid America twice  Huh

The box said "Windows 2000 server or better" So I installed Solaris

Nice group of cars, but I don't have time to try any of them out! Might not even make the race, depending on if my train is late home Angry
How do the Ferrari & Jag compare to the rest?

I have only tried the Alfa & the Elite. The Alfa is at least 1s a lap faster for me but is quite easy to turn over, Elite lacks straight line speed but is great through the corners & doesn't appear to want to tip over. So it is the Elite for me.

1: I am obviously giving you too much choice if Clive hasn't seen them all  Roll Eyes
2: I must be slower than I think, because unless I hit kerbs I never roll any of them here.

Far too much choice.  I like spec races.  No need to wonder what car I should be in then!

Just tried the Jag.  Couldn't do better than a 1:08.5 and the thing blew up ofter 13 laps.

When my brother used to race his FF2000 here there was also a 3hr race for sports saloons and sports cars.  I never realised what a miserable time the Jag drivers were having!   Roll Eyes  Front tyres all shades of the rainbow and not enough steering to make it flip unless I used one of the grassy banks!

I don't have my times handy, but I think the Jag was potentially competitive, but is there for masochists people who want a challenge.

The standard version only. The WB version will blow this little lot clean out of the water.

Went behind the grass wall and was disqualified when trying to rejoin the track - there indeed is one possibility...

That's a real shame  Sad Embarrassed - nice track, nice car combo and a funny race right from the beginning.

Have fun guys

Another consistent performance from the Mogster Smiley The Mini was a nice, stable car for this track, although it suffered on the back straight when compared to most of the other cars. I managed to hang on at the back of the five car leading pack in the early stages, and basically just reeled off lap after consistent lap following Syd Drake's TR4. I had a short battle with John's Healey at one point, and Animal Ed caught and passed me in his Alfa, but otherwise it was a case of waiting for others to make mistakes. Mr Reali made one later in the second half of the race, and that bumped me up to P4. I had one scary moment when I lost concentration during the approach to the hairpin, but thankfully I managed to stop the car in time. It lost me several seconds, and gave Clive a glimmer of hope........but the Mogster brought the situation back under control Grin

On a side note....where were the rest of my team? Huh
