Is possible to upload the server replay? Any other replay would be good aswell ReplayPlease use this for any reports, as that'd make my life a whole lot easier with the timestamps. Thanks Jeff

Again, good pace from Felix and congrats to the podium! This time I tried the hard tires without pitstop and it worked out. After the start was sorted I was on fourth place until I crashed into two cars spinning infront of me. PorcoRosso passed me and Matteo touched me and then was behind me. I tried to keep him behind but he was faster and so he passed me.
Sorry Matteo, for the weired line when we touched at the end of start/finish straight. I thought the lapped car in front of us would slow down to let us pass. Obviously he didn't, I miscalculated that. I did not intend to crash you. Sorry for that!

Had a good few laps battling fmg until he dropped back (damage?)
Front aero was destroyed after a backmarker span into T1 and collected me while I was battling Fabri and Jeff for 2nd (Think I had the faster race car too - just didn't find the opportunity to pass). After that I was lucky to get down into the 1:10's I had so much understeer, sorry if my driving seemed overly 'blocky' - That was how slow I had to enter the slower stuff after the incident The race with Fabri and Jeffery was great until then at least, just bummed that I lost out at one of my 'local' (i.e. GPL) tracks

Well that was another unrewarding race. I managed to avoid the several crashes on the first lap and due to others mistakes I was up in 10th at one point. Then I noticed the tyre wear indicator thingy showed the left rear as red, so on the next slow left hander I carried a fraction too much speed and the back end just slowly slide round. And there I was stuck on the kurbs. Race over. Another forgettable AC race.

Cool cars on a great track indeed. Was late into qually so had just a lap or 3, but was not too worried. Made a good start and altough everybody seemed rather composed, there where quite a few accidents unfortunately.
After lap one i found myself behind team leader MJ, but my setup still seemed too understeeryon the hards. Some tweaking to do for the next outing. Had a nice group to race for some laps. Mid race i caught Chris at slow speed after a small spin. We exited the last corner side by side in a dash for the straight. You gave me enough room on the last corner to drive side by side Chris, i just misjudged the fast kink a bit and the slight touch send me into the armco. To bad as it was a good scrap. Congrats to the podium. Looking forward to the next race.

What wing were you front guys running? I noticed the only part of the track I seemed noticeably slower was exiting the final corner and down the sf straight but then I’d close again in the tighter corners where a bit of downforce helped. I was kicking myself in the race as I’d forgotten to lengthen my 2nd gear, which I found in qually gave me a higher speed in the final turn, so that was costing me a couple of tenths every lap I had 3 wing.

I tried everything from 0 - 9, and decided that for me the wing meant I could go with more confidence in the twisty bits, and times were better. I settled on the default 6. I set the front arb and springs at softest, and kept the rear quite hard which worked well everywhere except that nasty last corner.

Stefan, it was the slightest of touches, just shows that the collision physics is still very flakey. Also on the rear view visibility in these cars is awful. On the rift I was having to turn my head at right angles to see the wing mirrors and then the view was rubbish. Helicorsa helps but it looked like you were further away than you actually were when we were a long side.

Don't use me to judge low speed cornering though, my car was wrecked! I should have been in the 9's most of the race

"Helicorsa helps but it looked like you were further away than you actually were when we were a long side. " Sutol, did you try a carRadar app? It is more accurate to car dimensions becauce of different to Helicorsa way- Car Radar has a car base with proper sizes of all cars . HC- is not by default. You can try Simple Mode of Car Radar . AAAAnd you can merge it with Helicorsa ( see Support topic here) http://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/car-radar.15743 App support topic merge mode description and example : http://www.racedepartment.com/threads/car-radar.136781/page-5#post-2678690

I used the same setup of Silverstone, with 1 click more to the rear wing. So wing 1.

1 wing explains the sf straight difference then but I thought a low wing would cost you exiting the final corner I knew there was something amiss with fmg’s car as I was glued to his gearbox and faster through the infield sector. Still it looked fantastic dicing with a couple of group C cars with the Rift. As the image is slightly grainy it’s like watching real 80’s footage

Thx Baikal I'll give it a go.
Me too! Like Chris I found the mirrors not that great with the rift. How come there is no rear view mirror in the 962? Did enjoy looking sideways at other cars I was battling though and definitely helped me avoid clouting any car when 3 abreast in the early lap1 corners

This race was another disaster for me, once again all of my own making.
Didn’t have much time to practice for this race, or to happen upon a setup that worked, so was way off the pace. Does anyone fancy doing a tutorial for a complete numpty on car setups for the 962? Or perhaps I could just buy one.
Avoided all the carnage on the first lap to find myself in 9th. Had a line of cars behind but was managing to hold them off until I clipped a wall then immediately missed a gear and stuffed it into the armco. After pitting for repairs I was in 18th but settled down and slowly worked my way up to 10th due either to my excellent driving or, more likely, others misfortune.
Last race I ran out of fuel on the last lap. This time my gearbox blew up. Luckily only lost one place as a result. Once again, great car on a great track. Congrats once again to the podium finishers.
