Sorry I dragged out to help a friend out who's not well, just got back home. Looks like FMG got you going?

Yeah, a bit of guesswork and luck and I got it going. You'll want to check the server is as it should be though, in case I messed something else up!

I did jump on and restart the strackers so the live timing was working again. I'll check over the CFG files when I'm a bit more awake.
Thanks or sorting it out, I couldn't ignore my friend he's just been diagnosed with his own cancer and was very helpful to me before I was diagnosed giving me lifts etc. before I was admitted to hospital. I'm still not able to drive so help him out anyway I can, generally by just giving him support when he's struggling.

Well done for sorting the server out Tim, you saved the evening By one of those weird quirks of fate, the race being delayed enabled me to race as I was waiting on a call from the hospital. I got some better news and decided to go for it. From qually I knew I was only 4th quickest on the night and therefore decided I’d be content with that. Got a great start off the grid and mixed it up with Fabri and fmg but being piggy in the middle I bottled out of late braking for T1. Had a cagey ding-dong with Fabri and co for a few laps until I got a freak tank slapper where I’d never gone off before. Sadly I rejoined 3-4 places down and -8 secs to the front I somehow got away without front damage and so set off after the top 6. I started closing on vva and jaari and then felt disappointed when they both went off at T1, as felt I was robbed of some good 3 car race action. I then had a long lonely spell in 3rd, about 8-11 secs behind Fabri, but I noticed the flying 6-wheeler beginning to hunt me down lap after lap! I had to keep it clean and quick for the last 15 mins with vva getting ever closer. But I somehow pumped some 1:13’s in the last few laps and bagged 3rd on the podium I really needed that after a tough day Thanks for all the earlier well wishes for my dad, really appreciate it. He’s in a bad way but the surgery today was a success. But still tough times ahead.

Was actually messy race for me. Started shitty, lost 3 positions or so. Then my truck lost some aero in two collisions, but still it was fast at straights. Managed to finish 4th cause P34 felt really smooth with half of tank and further. Luckily fuel was out in last corner so i finished silently and calm Guys how about making races longer? Just to give it some interest with pitstops. Lets say, not 45 but 60 minutes?

Erh, I'm not willing to support this : I have enough torque with my wheel to say I'd not be able to reach 60mn (at least with those cars) and it makes end the race late enough like this imo.

i know a couple of guys here would like hour long races but its not going to happen in this series. We have an international grid and the hours dont work for everyone. The racing feels long enough at 45mins with an average 10-12 car grid anyway, if it was fuller it could be more worthwhile and the pitstops would add to the strategy. On a personal level i just couldnt manage an hour race ontop of practise and qually using a Rift, it murders my eyes as it is. Will get a next gen version in the January sales hopefully, though i think it still has no brightness controls.

Race report : Never been able to break the 1'14 wall here. End of lap 1 I did my drive-thought because I had had at least 1 misjugment in Interlagos to Bob's detriment plus the incident with Laurent. Managed to exit the pits not so far from the back of the pack. Got Syd in the straightline, but unfortunately he went off T1. Then I had Vva in front of I believe, but his pace was too fast for me. Saw him getting back to the guys ahead. All them 3 side by side at the end of SL, omg moment, but all went quite nicely. He passed them quite quickly. Then I was chasing Kimi. Got him after he did a slight fault. By all this time Jari was getting closer and putting pressure. We had very different settings, I was on the fast SL side when he was much more agile in the turns. He cought me later. Then he went out in the esses - fear moment when he got back on the track. By the end of the race my fuel was dangerously getting low so that I got to lower my consumtion more and more, till last lap where I did a quite big cut-off at the end of SL, leading to Jari back into my gearbox. In turn 3 he attempted to overtake me while I was hoping he wouldn't as it's a very tough place to try, we got our huge accident, car almost completely broken. He kindly and fairly made me understand he was about to wait behind me to reach the chequered flag, Goldtop got 2 free positions in the last 2 hundreds of meters (haha) in which my fuel was suddenly out. Hopefully I had enough inertia to reach the flag. The ironic side of this story is that Jari would have 100% sure got me eventually. Very nice race overall, fighting against the Finnish gang.

No no Bob, it was only my bad, I knew you were forced to be careful not to contact Syd ahead, I had to be more careful. But everyday is a chance to learn..

Great racing Decided not to qualify as I wasn't sure of my braking and lines into T1 (no practice). My Silverstone setup with longer gears worked well for me and I was surprised that I was able to battle it out with others. Had a great race with Kimi, swapping places many times for several laps with lots of side by side action and never any fear of contact. Great stuff! I finally managed to pull away from Kimi but had to pit 10 minutes from the end as I had not put enough fuel in Amazingly the refuelling went smoothly and I only lost a couple of places. Not sure what happened at the end but I passed 2 cars a few metres from the line to regain my lost places. Well done to pody and all Should be able to make the next couple of races at least.
