Bob: What do you need the car to do/not do? From the point of handling on these old beasties all you really have is spring rates, ride height, and some diff settings.
In general, making an axle softer (springs & shocks) gives it more grip, although that can also increase roll and make the car slower to react. Higher diff percentages give more grip, but when you exceed the limit they tend to want to drive the way I normally do
Raising the rear height relative to the front will make the car less stable under braking and acceleration, lowering it can make the car less keen to swap ends.
Expect some drifting regardless of setup on these - drift can be made more controllable with positive front toe (toe out) - just check the tool tip in setup which way the slider has to go to achieve this. I'm sure I've seen some cars where negative somehow equates to 'out' - so make sure I've given you the right value to chase!
