On this track the Honda was quite competitive and I had no fps problems.
On the first lap, during the first real braking, I had an incredible and unexpected front-locking and I ended up in the woods. I lost about 30 seconds to get back in, being afraid of getting stuck near the guard rail (which often happened to me during training). If I rejoined in a little better, I could avoid going all the way around the outside, to tell the truth.
I came back last with about half a lap behind, but slowly I managed to recover some positions, thanks to the bad luck of other pilots, and I finished third.

Congratulations to everyone who finished the race.

Well I was pretty miffed on wednesday after getting disco'd,  I checked the router logs and the connection did drop at my end (not a common problem) so oh well...

Was great fun to drive these old beasts around the Glen though, qually was super close, I got a nice clean lap in and knew I was unlikely to better it by much so retired to the pit and spent a good 7 minutes just waiting for a Lotus to pip me to it - but it never happened.

Got an ok start to the race but darn if I didn't just clip that hay bale on the pit exit as I went past and had instant car damage  Shocked, lucky it didn't seem to have any effect on performance and the race was on.  It was going fairly well, was slowly gapping the Lotii behind and then poof, disconnect!!!

Will be back for more though, as I said many times old cars like these in AC are just fantastic fun -  they make you  Shocked  Grin  Cool
