Well, Ruskus, I officially like your setup Smiley. I got a 1.39.4 after just 8 laps with it.

Wow, you're the first to like 'em Grin

Got the Falcon down to high 1.36's although whether its repeatable is another question, low 1.37's look very do-able atm.

Don't think I'm going to make this one - running way behind and haven't run a lap....

Hmm weird. I just loaded the setup I sent and it totally wrong, I think it's default. What amount of steering lock did the setup have I sent you? Something might have gone wrong with renaming the setup Undecided

Well that was good - just finished qualifying and when the game proceeded to race session, it left me doing somersaults in the air somewhere  :'(
Was just getting used to the track and cutting times down too.
Im gonna try out Sega Rally now instead  Cheesy
Really glad i didn't put loads of praccy time in now though.

Sorry to hear about your "flipping" problems.

Downloaded the PS3 demo off the PSNetwork earlier. Nice graphics, but gameplay is a bit sucky. DIRT is much better for arcade fun rally type stuff, very addictive.

Was close to my PB in qually so was happy with that.

Had a good start and got into T1 safely. First few laps the gap between me and Madd didn't increase alot, but after that I was driving away slowly.
Car felt great for me the whole race, still did a mid 37 2 laps before the end. Had some nice two wheel moments but it never got too dangerous Grin.

Had a stonking start using V8 powah to haul myself up through the field but then it all went wrong when I put the car on its side in the hairpin. After that it was pretty hit or miss - I'm quite pleased to have learned Oulton but TBH the mixture of fast and slow wasn't much fun and led to at least one accident where I got past a Cortina on the straight, then put the car sideways into Druids (which is required to get the Falcon through there) only to have the Cortina run into me and send my off. Undecided

Well done JR on yet another win for the Sharks. Cool

Some good fun battles then Grin

Disaster at the start, I forgot turn 1....too used to coming out the pits and into 2  Roll Eyes so ended up on the grass and 24th from 12 th.

Started making headway and had a good little tussle with another alpha...wasnt sure who it was as I hadn't turned tabs on by then. Made up three places when two cars ahead had a coming together and I started past them only for one of them to bump me and send me in a spin. Back of the pack again.

Then got it together for a good few laps and was tussling with Dave in his one wheeled Falcon for ages for 15th/16th...We passed each other a few times but I eventually managed to get a little daylight only to find S Holmes in another yank ahead. I duly ran into the back of him in the left hander (t3), after following Dave through a few times I didn't expect Steve to slow so much and tickled his rear and spun him. Sorry Steve. I bet that gave the lead pack a bit of a fright as they were approaching rapidly at the time.

Got going but decided to wait for Steve as I'd spun him, only to forget to brake into the hairpin whilst looking in my mirrors for him and bang...busted suspension.

Ah well, enjoyed it while it lasted.

Well done JR and podium lads.

Cheesy Well, what can I say did a good quali and then realised looking at Jeff's time I was going to have to settle for second at best as his time was 0.4 faster than mine.
So decided to play it safe and be as consistent as I could, and tbh apart from when i missed my braking point by a country mile into the last corner I pretty much managed it  Roll Eyes .

Of course Pribeiro was there to pick up my 2nd place (he's making a habit of this  Wink ) and Backo was in close pursuit also.  sweatdrop
I eventually got better drive out of the hairpin and shot past him under braking for the chicane, it was a little hairy  eek but I was committed  and that yank tank doesn't like slowing down! tank
(have to check replay)
So it was just a case of holding him off for the remainder of the laps to finish 2nd, congrats to Jeff as well for a quick drive and to Pribeiro for 3rd.  thumbup1

PS all the lapped cars behaved impeccably on what is a difficult track for  passing cars.  thumbup2

Sorry Dave. I knew you'd be slower through there than me but I underestimated how much slower and didn't brake hard enough.  Embarrassed
