Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 1204s

Davor Mirkovic is trying to pass Adam Parle on the inside through the last corner but gets very wide causing contact between both cars, forcing Adam off track. Adam manages to keep control over the vehicle and gets back passed Davor.

No driver looses anything in particular and the passing driver is still behind. Also prior to this incident Adam did almost the same to another driver, so Davor gets off by a warning.

Server replay time: 1253s

Davor Mirkovic is behind Adam Parle as they are closing on the chicane. Because Adam is in the Corvette, he has to brake a bit earlyer than Davor, causing Davor to rear-end Adam.

Davor should've been prepared for this as he's been behind Adam for at least a couple of turns, and should know that Adam needs to take it easy through turns. But because of the severity of an impact this is for Adam, Davor gets 2 places lost as penalty.

Server replay time: 1538s

Jebstone Boppman is catched by the leaders, Jeffrey Ruskus and Madd-RIP, when he's entering the last turn a bit hot, which makes him go slightly off track. Then Jeffrey takes advantage of this and is getting along side with Jebstone as Jebstone is trying to rejoin the track. This makes Jeffrey loose it a bit, letting Madd passed.

Once off track you should not rejoin until it's safe to do so without obstructing other vehicles. Because Madd-RIP was so kind to let Jeffrey go by, no places were lost, and Jebstone did probably not see Jeffrey in his mirrors, and did maybe think it was safe to rejoin, his penalty is reduced to 1 place lost.

Phew, that was hard - really had to work at that one. I've a feeling that my finishing position may have been accelerated due to some of the faster drivers not being able to join, but still happy with 7th (i think?).
Had a bad start off the grid - i wasn't moving hardly when it was green light time, and realised i had knocked the Elan into 2nd  Undecided
Anyway, good but hectic first lap until i managed to tap someones rear end on the end of the first lap - i think it was a white e-type - i gave it a bit too much and was understeering out of the final turn, with someone right behind me - really sorry to whoever that was.
But, after that i had to work hard to get up the field - firstly with D Mirkovic (sp?), then caught up with Phil - he made me work and we had some excellent close racing, whilst working our way up the field swapping positions as we went - great stuff Phil - hope theres more this season - really good.
Anyway, well done to all that raced tonight - hope to see everyone back next week.

Apologies to anyone I got in the way of, there aren't many places to overtake on this track other than the main straight.

No need to tell anyone what position I came in, they should know by now!

Don't worry about your place Tibernius, I think it's great you pushed on, and you probably even passed a few unlucky souls overdriving their cars Wink

Didn't know people had problems connecting, I did get into the lobby, but I had to try about 5-6 times every time I was to connect to the race server.

Net a very interesting race for me, had noone to race, but I did like it when I managed to fight the lapping cars for some time. Was lucky with my car choice, as I hadn't manged to finish a whole lap with it before the race, and download IBM's setup for the Elan without testing it, just went a bit down on the power diff setting, just to be sure.

I managed to find my rythym later on in the race (a very slow one), and I also found out why I kept spinning. I was in too low a gear.

I span about 6 laps in and had to have the suspension changed, otherwise I would have been racing for 2nd-to-last.

That was incredibly fun!

I owe sincere apologies to Syd Drake and Adam Parle for tapping their Vette's. I just didn't expect that Vette will be so slow in the chicane. I saw that Parle quit later, so I am really really sorry if it was me who ruined his race.
Otherwise, I had very good battles all the time, and was closing the gap to Will and Gilliland after series of very fast laps. They were also catching SBG,so I pushed hard out of last corner to catch them at the end of S/F straight, but was caught slightly in the gravel, hit tyrewall sideways, and was somehow launched in the orbit. That was the end for me in lap25. Very unrealistic behaviour of the car at this impact, but now it's over.

Can't wait for future races.

That was good fun, shame I ran outta talent Smiley.

Very bright start with Bernie, Steve and Andy. Great fun swapping places and apologies for T1 crash. I did realise I made a horlicks of it and tried to get outta your way, think I just about avoided you all but it was a tad exciting. Got back into the thick of those chaps again only to run out of brakes, tyres and talent to fall away badly at the end. Good fun though.

Congrats to JR and Bernie for handling the vette, and all the podium. Its really not fun to hear about problems many had getting connected  Angry.

And it must be said that standards were far better this week, at least they were from where I stood. All bodes well for more fun ahead Smiley

Race for me started off as a bit of a procession, no way of catching the guys in front and keeping equal gap to PR behind. The more I pushed, the more I understeered so I was stuck. I let PR by coz I kept loosing time trying to go quicker.

Went through a 'calm before the storm' period - coz it sudenly went manic in the last 3 laps! All the leaders bunched up and Madd fell off, and I smelt the scent of a cheeky victory but it was not to be!

Was the most exciting 3 laps of racing I have ever had, but frustratingly I accidentally tapped PR in the last bend whilst trying to keep close and get a good run onto the straight for the last time. So sorry for this Paulo Sad - I just got caught out when you came off the gas as I went on it for that split second Sad

This had a knock on effect of Mike knocking me into the barrier and a head-ache inducing pirhouette!!

Gutted... and very sorry to PR

That was me! Looks like the battle between Team Prodigy and The Gentlemen Drivers is hotting up  Wink

No harm done though, had a terrible race; made too many mistakes and managed to spin at least two times own my own  Sad

What happened in the end? I was running in a comfortably 19th spot, getting out of everybody's way and suddenly I finished in 15th place ??!!  Huh

Why did you do that ?? We could have had a great battle and that would made both our races more interesting!

Oh well...

One backmarker was really terrible! Actually taking defensive lines and keeping us up for a few laps. Definitely gonna get a report!  Angry.

What car was this? (don't have to mention a name, just curious if I gave to little room to pass..)

That was a classic hard but fun classic race  Tongue
First half i was behind Baracus and as you said, we were doing the same time laps  Cool
Then i managed to exit last corner a bit better than you, and you gently let me overtake
easy.  Wink
But after that, you did exactly the same as before (same time laps)  laugh only with
me leading this time.
Then, sudendly, you lost connection with me (gap, not net) Grin Grin Grin and i was right behind the
top 3 guys  Shocked and it was a last 3 or 4 laps to remember, battling with them almost untill the end.
I did last mile less than an inch gap from Ruskus Vette (cool, very cool) Cool, i thought....under power,
the Vette will win easy,(last corner) but....2nd place will be fine........DANG Baracus
tapped my rear hard  Grin i spun and respun, I saw Mike going slow and i thought Mike was gently waiting for me
to overtake him to get my 2nd place, so i had brake, flashed the lights for him to finished ahead
of me, and because of this HUGE courtesy and fairplay i finished 4th  Tongue
No problem at all Baracus, because it was totally unintentional, but please, next time hit me at 1st lap at 1st corner, not at last lap and last corner (kidding) lol cheers Baracus mate  Wink
Congrats jeff and podium, great driving.

Cheers
