Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 1204s

Davor Mirkovic is trying to pass Adam Parle on the inside through the last corner but gets very wide causing contact between both cars, forcing Adam off track. Adam manages to keep control over the vehicle and gets back passed Davor.

No driver looses anything in particular and the passing driver is still behind. Also prior to this incident Adam did almost the same to another driver, so Davor gets off by a warning.

Server replay time: 1253s

Davor Mirkovic is behind Adam Parle as they are closing on the chicane. Because Adam is in the Corvette, he has to brake a bit earlyer than Davor, causing Davor to rear-end Adam.

Davor should've been prepared for this as he's been behind Adam for at least a couple of turns, and should know that Adam needs to take it easy through turns. But because of the severity of an impact this is for Adam, Davor gets 2 places lost as penalty.

Server replay time: 1538s

Jebstone Boppman is catched by the leaders, Jeffrey Ruskus and Madd-RIP, when he's entering the last turn a bit hot, which makes him go slightly off track. Then Jeffrey takes advantage of this and is getting along side with Jebstone as Jebstone is trying to rejoin the track. This makes Jeffrey loose it a bit, letting Madd passed.

Once off track you should not rejoin until it's safe to do so without obstructing other vehicles. Because Madd-RIP was so kind to let Jeffrey go by, no places were lost, and Jebstone did probably not see Jeffrey in his mirrors, and did maybe think it was safe to rejoin, his penalty is reduced to 1 place lost.

Is there a way round it if it doesn't sort itself by race time?

No there isn't I'm afraid. Direct IP is not reliable as a way of connecting to a server for everyone. There's still 3.5 hours to go so don't worry yet.

19 people have managed to connect so there is no point postponing. Us unfortunate souls unable to get into the lobby will have to sit this one out I'm afraid. Stupidly written multiplayer system!! Maybe they have changed the server and it's taking it's time filtering down the potential DNS changes to all the ISPs. Who knows. Sad

Sad All that fighting to be lose out 'cos I downshifted to quick into T1 a lap after avoiding Jeff's very slidey rear in chicane and spinning, had a couple of scary moments when Mike's car warped everywhere, and nearly got thrown off track when he warped directly in front of me, a terrific scrap with him and Jeff for all the race though.
There was however some dubious lapping and nearly Jeff and myself were taken out on a couple of occasions.
Grats to podium.

What a race!  Had pb in qually which put me into 4th.  Came off the clutch too quick and left a trail of rubber on the track and slotted myself into 9th.  Managed sneak my way back into 6th where I found myself for most of the race until I saw madd in the gravel.  Last lap an altercation occured between M Hammer, PRibeiro and Baracus and managed to cross the line in third.

That was a blast. Grin

Had a Ton of Fun that race, despite I was in such a low place.

I started in a bad place - my little Elan smack dab in the middle of Vettes everywhere! When the race started I couldn't even hear my own engine! I kept consistant and on the butts of the Legends Vette and Jag. That is untill the Vette got in front of me - and boy was that hard work trying not to let that Yank Tank slide into me and vice versa. I ended up trailing off a bit, then made an absolute bonehead error at the last turn sliding wide dinging my left front quarter panel. Damage didn't seem to affect the car to much, but I rejoined in 16th place. I had the American Flag of Syd Drake breathing down on me on the straight and then passed me before T1. I caught up to him after some fighting, but I couldn't avoid tapping him as his Vette was "Turning" and my Elan was "grazing the turn" on the last turn again. I slowed down to let him pass and lost another place to The Mooji speeding through in his blue Elan.

I spent the rest of the race basically just gaining 1 second on the person in front of me. I had the Leaders come through and lap me, and I suprised myself by keeping somewhat on pace with them for a couple laps. The end started to get exciting as I caught back up to The Mooji and was putting some pressure on. Wasn't enough to get past him tho, and I think I finished in 14th.

Fun race tho! But those Vettes need their own lane - they're a nightmare to be behind Sad

That's a real shame indeed Madd. Exactly what you say, you fight so hard and be very patient all race, just to lose it in the end.
You did great avoiding my slippery car. I was too busy with keeping the car on the road to think about defending. So I was keeping an eye on the mirrors and sides, but during the corners I really had to focus it all on controlling my car as it was awefull halfway.

One backmarker was really terrible! Actually taking defensive lines and keeping us up for a few laps. Definatly gonna get a report!  Angry.

Mark and I overtook Sander (IIRC) quite funnily. I took the outside and he took the inside at the same time Grin. Must have been a surprise for Sander Smiley.
