I'm getting fairly consistant 1:19/20s in the Panterrifying. I've mostly been doing actual races against AI to prepare for the traffic on this track. turn one is going to be very hectic if ANYONE makes a mistake That chicane will be pretty hairy too if someone spins it right in the middle of the track, because there's almost nowhere to go and when you come in a optimal speed any quick movments will send you into the sand. I don't think the tyres will be to much of a problem, as I don't find I'm putting alot of pressure on them due to the inclined turns, which suits these cars well.

1.19.5 best so far in the Capri. Panthera seems so fast but, but I can't get any consistent runs with it. I spin it every second lap or so, mostly trying to get through the esses with throttle on throughout.

Woohoo, did a 1:18.725 online in practice with the Vette. Had to turn caster right up and lower coast to 20%. Still some more tweaks which should make it handle better, so I hope a low 1:18 in qually thursday.
It's an awesome car that Vette, wish more people would give it a shot.

The '69 and '76 is authorized. the '65 is GTC65 and a slower class. The ones you can pick are the green car and the red American styled Vette. No wonder you only did a 1:27, you were driving the wrong class . Try the Green Machine

I've done 10 laps of pracci and its gotta be the Vette. Makes the Pantera look dull Reminds me so much of a race we did around here in Escort mod, for GTR1 I think. Bonkers. Nowhere near the pace and unlikely to last 10 laps but why fade away? Care to share your setup JR? Its can't make it any worse.

The Corvette is a car aimed for races, the understeer will make it feel horrible during hotlapping, but once you can unleash the power and blast past other cars, the fun begins http://files.filefront.com/Corvette+Watkins+JRsvm/;9369532;/fileinfo.htmlHope I can make the race, as I'm gonna format my disc

i tried the 76 Vette late last night but could only do 1:20/21's in it as i tippy-toe around corners too much in it. Think i'll stick to the trusty German steed, the 906, as i'm doing 1:19's in that baby. Not managed to break into the 18's yet

Not sure yet whether I can make this one. I have to change the Team Shark web hosting asap due to the current web host being utterly useless and disabling the website for 36 hours due to me using the backup feature twice (god forbid). Have done no practice here but I'm pretty familiar with the track cause I've played it quite a lot over the years so I might just do my usual turn up at the last minute and cobble a setup together.

Sorry folks my internet connection has been crap all day. OK in driving up till formal event - even managed a new PB, although there was an occasional queston as to who had a slight lag. In qualifying it seem terrible and I escaped and sat in the pits Alex v V opposite had a ping of 4000 odd so did the guy next to him. So I questioned and got the reply Yes I was lagging badly so I quit. A pity as I like that type of track, though I have to brake early to avoid running wide/off into the kitty litter, there are long flatout sections which give great satisfaction to be able to drive through flat in 5th. Race over before it began unfortunately.
Got a light tap on the right rear under braking for T1, which sent me on a wider line through the corner and into contact with Ginster's Corvette. Lost control of the car at this and careened off track into barrier. Apologies to those collected in the process or otherwise involved in the chain reaction. Car damaged; pulling right and not willing to turn either way anymore, so left as I didn't feel like fighting it over the next 29 laps, and risk more incidents due to it's less predictable handling.
Regards, Erling

grrr bloody stupid buggy game was having a cracking race until a couple of crazy cut warnings were given against me on lap 22 of 30 Had been racing in 8th or 9th the entire race having a couple of good fights along the way but it all went to waste when i got the stop and go. :'( Did my penalty only to be given a speeding penalty on way out. Now dropped to 12th. Went around again angrily, skidded into pitlane to do my 2nd stop and go only to be given a bloody 3rd one as i left the pit box again!...and that was with the limiter on By now was down in 15th with only 3 laps remaining. Was hot and bothered so then i span off and promptly quit in frustration. :'( Shame, as i like the track and was really enjoying the race. Good to see a lot cleaner racing tonight too, everyone was great through the first lap corners My only complaint is everyone using qually as a bloody chat room ! zip-it.com Congrats to all that finished well.
