And a kick in the virtual goolies a reminder for pitting in GTL, the AI turns off your pit limiter when you stop in your box, so dont forget to re-engage it when you drive off or you will be hit with a stop & go. RULE BREAK ALERTRead Note 4!

No, it does that even with AI turned off. During the pit stop it disables the pit limiter.

Notes: (1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage. (2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.ukRules. (3) The season will be run using the UKGTL Skin Pack 1.6 which will need to be installed prior to racing; please get it from the downloads page. (4) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read Autopit="0" Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car (5) Driver lists can be found on the championship standings page

Thanks, I must guiltily admit that I actually hadn't noted that, seeing as pitstops are a new thing here, oops. My car is still set to AI control, at least now I can change that. Good thing you raised that point Tony. Does the No AI Control flag stop it taking over at the race end too?

Love donuts, but please remember to wait till everyone has finished behind you before you do them or start playing pinball with each other....on a fps hungry track like this it causes loads of grief for those still on track.

I will try to make this but may be doubtful. I am just stuck on how to ensure that I do not have AI control for the pits. Cant't find a specific tab to disable as in GTR2.
The instructions state: The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read Autopit="0" Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
Do I access these from my user folder within GTL, as I can't find this file, Please treat me as a complete NOVICE when it comes to computers.

No Probs mate. If you go inside your installed GTL folder, you will find a folder called "User Data". Inside that folder there will be another folder called "JPS" (in my case it's called "psuedo") In that folder there is a file called "JPS.plr". Open this file in Notepad and scroll through the lines till you find the ones that need changing Autopit="0" Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car and alter them to the above settings. SAVE the altered file and presto...done. Anyone else taking the Alpine?...I like driving it more than any of the others but dont want to be 10 laps down all on my own. :'(....can only manage 31's in it at present.

Thanks for taking the time to help psuedo, got it sorted.
One other issue, I deleted my entire install due to the issues I had at the last race and have put a fresh install with all the relevant packs. I now find that I have zero credits to buy any cars! Will I have to complete alot of the challenges before I can race on any UKGTL Races? I went to the test server and again I was not allowed to use any of the cars until I purchased them. Am I doomed until I do the challenges again ?
Is Nurburgring within the track pack, because that was not highlighted either within single player.
