Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 380s

Steve is following Gazza closely on the first lap of the race and they catch the two cars ahead as they approach Lesmo 2. The two other vehicles are on the inside of the track leaving no space for Steve to attempt any pass.
Steve is unable to react sufficiently in time to Gazza's braking into Lesmo 2 and taps him off the track into the gravel. Steve waits whilst Gazza gets back on track.
Given that Steve waited, Gazza requested no penalty and the mitigating circumstances of the incident (other vehicles in close proximity) there is no penalty in this case.

Is that about the same pace for most people then? 44's for race pace? Hmm, have to give the Lister another blast methinks!  Smiley

Don't worry, MJ, he's bound to put too little front wing on it.

Monza looks B E A-uutiful since i tweaked my Nvidia settings on my shiny new 9800GTX  Cool
I use some photo-real renders for the DDS files too that i nabbed a long while back on no-grip and it all looks rather tasty.
The FPS is now so super smooth and quick that i feel like i am piloting an F1 car and my poor old brain hasnt had a chance to re-sync with the new pace of it all  Tongue
Its given my GTR2 yet another new lease of life though i must remember not to glance at the scenery too much during the race !

Yeah Andy, dont forget those Fezzas like lots of wing at Monza...2,12 should suit you just fine  Wink Kiss

The oppurtunity to crash the Massa in low wing config is hard to resist  :'( Think I'll join you gents for about 4 laps if I'm lucky.

Welcome back Mo Smiley

Racepace should atleast be 41's/42's.

And the Viper is actually worst that you'd expect here Tongue. Too many hard braking and quick corners Smiley.

Can someone please translate this Alien tongue into English please  laugh

that sort of pace may be possible (for mortals) on the pre-ukgtr version of the track.....where you could ignore the chicanes.  Wink

This track seems to play to my weaknesses so i'm looking at 46-47's. My braking distance feels like its twice as long as everyone else!

Any chance of a link to those track files MJ?

Excellent, I'll do this.

I'm reasonably consistent driving round this track, I'll go see if I'm anywhere near the pace while being consistent!

...I'll also see what car is quickest in a straight line, and I'll race it! Cheesy

Racepace should atleast be 41's/42's.

LOL, not if I'm at the front.  Grin
I can't go at that pace in the F550 for qually let alone the race.
