I'm afraid to say on about my 11th or 12th offline practice lap GTL crashed for me, and like others here, I don't get CTDs in GTL. I fear we have a buggy track. I guess we could switch to the 'other' Jarama version, the layout is virtually the same, just different kerbs and scenery, only took me 3 laps or so to adjust. On a positive note I was running mid 41s in the Corvette with race fuel.

Just tried other version of Jamara and I get ctd on loading the track, and mines a fresh install of GTL. Clearly we can't use that one either.
Will pick another track, that we are all familiar with, to replace Jarama asap. Why do my faves never work :'(

That is a real shame, it seemed quite technical to start with but has a really nice flow once you learn it. Ya boo sucks to CTDs.

That'll teach me to bother learning a track! Put down Dave and I for a 1/2 in results then Done a lot of pracci in the Cobra around here to no avail. Oddly I never got a CTD but there's only one option. Please note change of venue to Phillip Island.

Not funny Realise this track wasn't a universal hit last time but I think that was due to us all being stuck in the TVR. This is a personal fave of mine

Just out of interest, I DLed Jarama79 from NoGrip, V1.02, which I presume is the same version we were going to use. Same result CTD after 15-20 mins. The version we raced at NoGrip around 15 months ago, V1.0 ran fine, so it would appear that something the track converter did between V1.0 & V1.02 is causing the problem.
If we would still like to race Jarama79 at some time, I still have V1.0.

I guess it had to be done, but I'm gutted about this. :'( :'( :'( Having not been enthralled with Silverstone last week, I'd spent a bit of time practising Jarma instead & thought it was a contender for my 'top' favouritest track! I hope we can come back to this track at some point soon, I thought it was a good chance for the Alpine to have a run out, I'll give it a buzz round 'PIsle' but fear it will be off pace here p.s. Did anyone suffer a problem while driving it on the practice server? p.p.s. Accelerating time in pracy was enough to make it CTD after 20-30 mins in.

I CTD'd from the prac server. ALthough when I got to the desktop there was a nice note from windiees firewall saying it was blocking incoming connections. DOn't think it was related.
Prac server is running Pajama at the moment. WHen it changes to Philligans Island I'll do some more testing. I've never seen either before so don't have a strong opinion.
SO far at PI. Elan - 1:53.2, Cobra - 1:53.5, TVR - 1:54/55, Aston 1:55/56 TRied E type, felt good for a long race but was really slow at 1:57/58 Aston is fun here, a bit over slidey, and would probably be horrible after 40 laps. Shame it's not a bit quicker.

Managed a 1:56 in the Alpine last night after only about 5/6 laps... so was quite chuffed with that.
