No worries about that Ginsters, I'll be in the undergrowth before the end of the race. Just Phil you need to worry about!

There's no chance I can keep up last night's pace for 25 laps Geoffers, I could barely keep it on the track for 3, as you saw!

My fastest lap in qually, first time into the 37's. After a few laps was trying to get up to the large 9th'ish battle with Tibs right behind me through the last bend and my PC just froze Huh Angry Hope i didnt affect you Tibs? After about 10secs it dropped me back to the grid/ monitor page as i was frantically hitting Esc and all the textures were screwed in the monitor and it wasnt showing the standings. Think i'll try out that Nvidia patch now...

And last week i fitted one of these to my 8800GTS to make sure it wasnt overheating...

Crikey, I might suck at Cadwell but thats the best race I've had in a while Smiley

Chuffed with new pb in quali and couldn't wait for the start to put my new clutch into action. I have either mastered clutch starts or the Falcon had a bit of an advantage  Wink Either way found myself into 8th half way around lap. Then, I only to hang on for 24 and half laps laugh Tried my darnest to hold everyone up and I gotta praise Ade, Matt, Phil, Dyno and Tibs for their race craft. None of them gave me the slightest tap and all worked patiently to put in a pass (all of them figured out I couldn't stop for downhill rightender in the end Roll Eyes) Great stuff.

Congrats to podium and real bad luck to Phil who was just in the wrong place at the wrong time :'(

Yeah, that was a great race!

For rounds had a cat/mouse game with Sandor. Then with Tibs(?).
In the end managed to hold a solid 14th place.. Yeeeaaaah, 1 point I thought @ lap 24 and went of the finish line with ligths ablaze.... but wait, another lap ??!!!
NNNNNOOOoooo, only had 1,5 liter left in the tank.. so off the throttle early and hoping for the best (had no clue how many laps were left..)
Finished eventually with 0,7 liter left....  Undecided Yet another rookie mistake....

Thanks all for the clean race.

ps. hope the news wasn't too bad

Corker of a race and Q session!
I got lucky with my timing in Q and managed to claim P2 in the dying seconds - really surprised myself coz it didn't feel THAT much faster than my previous P6 time but I must have got something right in the last sector!

Made an OKish start but couldn't challenge Dan for the lead but we stuck to each other like glue for the 1st half of the race!! Never more than 0.8 apart Cheesy

Eventually Dan made a small mistake going uo the hill out of the chicane and I managed to get past (with a bit of bumper remodelling Wink )   - so now the pressure was on me to hold it... which I managed... for almost a lap! I took the left hander at the bottom of the hill too sharply and slipped onto the grass on the inside, lost momentum and Dan was back through!

Chased for all I was worth until the end but think I caned my tyres then I started dropping back into the clutches of Steve and Oily behind me in the last couple of laps!

Good solid drive by Dan, well done! I like!!

Great race but really hard work.
Managed to get a pb in qually to get pole and just about held of Bara into first corner , tried to brake away which didnt happen as it was Bara behind.  Gap stayed the same for about 10 laps with both of us quicker at different parts of the circuit , Then got on the grass coming out of the Mountain and Bara went through.
For a moment i thought Bara was going to pull the plug but he dropped two wheels on to the grass and i won the drag race up towards the mountain.  Put 5 really consistent laps in and managed to get a 3 second lead and brought it home.

Just watched the replay ..great racing between SBG, Phil and Matt top stuff Smiley

Grats to rest of podium .

Bring on the championship decider at Snetterton. Grin

Wasn't expecting to make the race so to find myself on the grid was a bit of a gift!

Had a rough race thanks to my kid. Easily lost a minute overall thanks to him. But man that race was fun. Cadwell is awesome! And that Mini was divine!

My pathetic finishing position in no way reflects the fun I had out there.  Grin

Excellent race overall. On one hand it was fun to take turns at hassling SBG., I even slowed on the
back straight to let Tibs have a go at him... well, Phil had tried for a few laps, Ade for a few
I'd had a damm good go.. maybe Tibs could shake him  Grin
I ended up at the front of this new game "Chase the Pasty" kinda like cheese rolling, and welly
chucking, only faster. Spent several laps tryin to find the chink, it is unbelievable how hard it is
to pass a car you cna zoom up behind with little effort, but the dam thing just pulls away on the staights
only chance was bottom of hill after gooseneck, or into the mountain, but that was hard as the
big lump (Falcon that is not SBG) wandered across the track so much, it was all I could do to avoid contact.
Oh yes, the other hand, it was frustrating t watch the rest of the field disappear into the distance
and not be able to keep up, still, the Podgy V8 Pasty bunched us up so much it was fun to pass,
be passed, and repass, giving the baton to one after the other, if we'd been on team speak
it would have been "Right, I'll stay left, you go hassle him!"  Grin
Anyroadup, I barged past at the bottom of the hill into Mansfield, and set about tryin to catch the rest
of the field, if it had been an enduro I might have joined the party in front, I began to See Blunder
in front, but not enough laps to do anything about him. Dan was right, there was some SERIOUSLY
grown up bumper to bumper racing going on for 8th place!.. or was it 9th  Undecided

Shame psuedo is busy, this is one replay I HAVE to watch!

Oh yes, Got hassled, and nearly passed by Ade at the end, my fronts seemd to have gone off
got well wobbly onthe mountain, stayed left expecting a pass, and somehow our cars were
trying to make babies, and he missee the opportunity  Cool

Yes sorry about trying to climb in through the drivers window Shocked Great racing from start to finish and them there Falcons are soooooo wiiiiiide  Cheesy thought i would never get past SBG but he made one little mistake and ran wide at the bottom of the hill so it took up his kind offer of the place.

                                            Great stuff  thumbup2 Cheers Ade

What the heck, why use 100 words when a 1000 will do..
I was late joining, as I had some blokes fitting a new boiler
Was still running round checking for leaks at 20 to nine
Got 6 mins qual, PB was 36.9, managed 37.5? maybe .7
took full race fuel setup, didnt have time to take a light
losse qual setup, suffered for it, but then if I'd have qual'ed
higher I would not have had such fun  laugh

Had some great race with teammate Alex just in front of me for half the race.
Then suddenly my times dropped by a second per lap and I had problems concentrating on the race.

Hoped to race with Legzy at that point but he just blasted by and I never saw him again .

Ah well , had fun last night. Unfortunately have to miss the next race.

" I gotta praise Ade, Matt, Phil, Dyno and Tibs for their race craft. None of them gave me the slightest tap..."

Sorry Ginsters, from my mirrors I saw sparks fly when I passed you finally  laugh... Falcon pulled away during the straights but did wider lines around the turns, so I kinda waited for my chance and when you went a little wide got by with no real harm to anyone except the scraped paint, thanks for letting me through! Nice battle!  Grin
