Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 710s

Jose tries an overambitious overtaking manoeuvre midway through Opel and collects Evert. Evert almost loses control and can barely hold on, still he loses the place.
Corner later he regains the position but gets hit again, this time without too much consequences.

Because the first incident was clearly wrong and could have gone worst, it deserves a penalty of 1 place. Not the full penalty, as the place it regained, but due to another similar incident right after, it still gets a penalty, as overtaking must be done more carefully.

Server replay time: 5016s

First two timestamps, Jose steers into the car on his inside. Leave more space when there is a car in the middle. Happened a bit too often so this will be the last warning from me regarding these incidents.

However, what happens at 5080 will not go unpunished, Jose tries to overtake Jan with no overlap nor room, pushing Jan wide and claiming his place. 2 Places lost for this, as 1 place lost will only put him back to where he was before the incident which won't make it a penalty.

Napo was quite a bit faster than Jose and was entitled to unlap himself. The reason why Jose went wide was because of the addressed incident above. After that, the other lapping traffic was never close enough to lap Napo. The lapped traffic is not forced to slow down or come to a stop, it's up to the lapping traffic to make it a safe overtaking. Flashing headlights should be used to make sure people are being lapped, not a way to force people out of the way.

Just realised which track Anderstorp is. Never driven it except in GTL with TC-65's on the public servers, which is a whole different ball game lol. I'm quietly confident of an above average finish, as I reckon this track was made for my Z4 (I do hope it still has the banked corners?)  Cool Cool Cool

It does, just got to make sure you don’t get beached at the top of the banking or on the big curbs on the inside!
Hoping for a good race in the Z4  yes

Dear me, the Viper really eats its tyres on this track.

If it rains, tyre choice is going to be a nightmare (again) Cheesy.

Hello everyone.
I'm kinda new here. I may try and take part in the race tomorrow which will be my first race. I have been practicing quite a bit, and I will do my best. I apologise in advance if I am responsible for any incidents.

Anyone got any times so I can gauge how I'm doing? My best so far is 1:32.6 in race setup. But my Z4's front left tyre is being torn to shreds (6.7 after 4 laps Shocked) & might have to go for more durable tyres  Undecided Unless anybody has any suggestions on things that will reduce tyre wear on this track? I think it might be the banked corners that are killing them.

p.s. Welcome Lubi, see you on the track  Smiley

1:31.5 in the Viper with race fuel.

Is the wheel locking up under braking? I had that problem and it was using up the tyre much faster. If so, try reducing the brake pressure a bit and possibly set the brake bias more to the rear.

You could also try reducing the front Anti Roll Bar (too much and the car will not turn in) and reducing the camber in that wheel. I hope this is some help. Smiley

1:30.1 Quali - 1:31.4 Race

But my Z4's front left tyre is being torn to shreds (6.7 after 4 laps Shocked)
I was also worried about my tyre wear until I did a long test run using medium slicks, and managed to do mid 1:32's with my front left tyre reading 17. Which was good news as this means I won't have to do 2 stops in the race  Grin
