Not my strongest or favourite track/car combo that. Instead of trying to find a way to drive the Fezza I did rather force it too accept my silly ways instead, sure it would have been a tad faster if I didn't drive it like a Cobra.

That said, that was fun race. Great opening first few laps with Steve and PR. Real shame you retired Steve as the close racing was ace, keep the faith matey. After the demise of Steve it was a straight dog fight between me and PR, all ruddy race long. Not entirely happy with my pass into turn 2 PR, I was a tad loose, and I did flash to let you through on next straight but you didn't want it Huh Then Geoffers was right with you so I wasn't gonna give up two places and carried on. I could sense you sizing me up for the 6 or 7 laps after that and thought it was only a matter of time. Lucky for me you got it slightly wrong into chicane. As always, top stuff and I got lucky there Smiley

Gutted for Bara but happy to see him and a few old faces (sorry Oily, Purds Wink) return. Equally happy to see some new faces as well. I must be just lucky, but the etiquette in quali and race, especially those being lapped, was excellent Smiley Next week is gonna be exciting though Wink

Firstly, real bad luck there Mark, you had that in the bag after our damn good scrap.

I basically lucked that win, Dan shot off at the start when Mark, Steve  and I squabbled for 2nd and 3rd, so I was expecting a good close scrap.  Wink

Steve went wide in the stadium section so I squeezed past there but Mark was pretty much pegging me for times so the gap was quite static, he eventually passed Dan which I did a couple of laps later but then Mark disco'd   :'( 2 laps from the finish handing me 1st.

Tbh I would have been more than happy with 3rd as I just couldn't quite match both Mark or Dan for pace, so 1st is a nice prize to have.  Cheesy

Also well done to Ian and Dan.  Smiley

Thanks pleeps, it's great to be racing again but shame it had to end with another disco... On the last lap too- and just after getting the lead to rub salt into my wounds!

Great race anyway. I forgot how much I love racing!! Cheesy

That was weird when Matt was following me in 1st few laps coz it looked like he was manically flashing me. I thought either I had done a dodgy or I was lagging. Not sure what to do I carried on hoping that it wasn't lag (coz don't care if I batter in to u ;p) but trying to make a gap in case it was.

Had a few dodgy laps in the middle of the race allowing Matt to close right back up and he was still flashing. I thought "blimey he's really angry, I better let him through!". The paradox is when I repassed later on,  I DID actually touch ( gently) so I actually endangered us both by tying to do the right thing earlier... Well, never again!!! Hehehe j/k Smiley

Only noticed right near the end of the race that other cars were also flashing at the same time and in perfect sybch so it must have been a bug!

Massive thank you to Ade! for his awesome set up!

Had little practice, Did a 2.07.5 with my own set up in the first few laps but then 45mins trying to improve it and couldn't!
Ade offered his set up at the start of practice and I was flying in comparison! Did 2.06.6 in practice and couldn't believe it when I
got a 2.05.5 in quali.
Got a great start and had a good tussle with Ossie early on.
Unfortunately we had a little coming together, I'm guessing side by side into one apex. First I knew about it was when I saw him
having an issue in my mirrors! Not seen the replay! Sorry if it was my fault!

Lots of good battles through a very enjoyable race had to give up my place to a couple of quicker people and was half releived to see Ossie get back past me in the end!

7th ! all down to Ade! I owe ya buddy!

Thoroughly enjoyable race for me apart from the cut messages, got 3 did my S&G then just as I caught and passed car in front picked up another cut and another S&G - swear I had taken the same line before.  Ran out of laps trying to catch up again.  Had a good tussle with Wiltshire Tony for a few laps, was hard work as he had lost his brake lights in an earlier incident.  Well done all, looking forward to the P&G race on Monday, am working in Spain Thursday so will have to miss next round.

Wasn't your fault, I turned in and caught you.  Just so glad I didn't take you out.

Sorry to Lazlow for the rear end, didn't expect you to brake so early.  No excuse!

trying not to wipe out any of the lappers, although I had to jump onto the grass to avoid hitting pribeiro at the hairpin.

You didn't avoid me Tim (check the replay at ~1728) i lost 3 seconds for SBG there,
anyway, thanks for trying to minimize the hit.

After the demise of Steve it was a straight dog fight between me and PR, all ruddy race long. Not entirely happy with my pass into turn 2 PR, I was a tad loose, and I did flash to let you through on next straight but you didn't want it Huh

Not my car and track preference aswell. Since the very first time (3 years ago?) drove the 275 i didn't like it. I don't like the night races also.  Grin
SGB, i kept my position behind you, because i felt that your overtaking manouver was superb!
Was agressive but you didn't put me in danger. Was a clean and fair manouver (as usual).  Smiley

Qualified 7th and believe me i wasn't very beliver for my performance last night.
Don't appreciate the track (i miss/we must use the old layout)  Grin not the car eitheir.
Good start and on the first laps i was in 5th battling with Steve and SBG (unlucky Steve).
One more time i gain a few thousands on slowest sections of the tracks but lose it on the fast ones.
This happens with all games, don't know if it is something about wheel/pedals settings,
or if it is because i don't have a clutch pedal.  Roll Eyes If someone have a clue, please share with me.  Wink
Anyway, SBG made my night for all 40mns. But when things were even hotter, we overtook Tim,
and Tim missed his braking point into the harpin hitting my rear left end, with 6 laps to go,
and SBG keeping his pace, all i could do was waiting for a mistake from him. Didn't happen.
So i'm glad with my final 4th place.

Unlucky Baracus, internet connection been very evil to you mate.  Angry
Congrats for your win Madd and to Dan and SBG podium.  alien

Cheers

Damn cut track warnings  2guns

Got one early at T1 then a bit later I run wide at the final turn & get 2 in one go & an S/G  Huh Next corner (T1) get another, gave up in disgust.  Embarrassed

At least I kept up my 100% record of DNFs this season  :'(

I got one on the last lap and lost 2 positions.  As we both raced Minis last week, I think T1 was treated totally different with the Ferrari.  With the Mini you could use a lot of the green inside of the track even beyond the "cones" whereas last night we had track warning with both cones in place by just touching the green bit.

Am I just dreaming of better nights or am I right?

Yay, my first race without getting lapped (just)!  Wasn't mad on the track, but enjoyed it anyhow.

Had a scare on the opening lap after Legzy's ghost stopped in front of me, but I'd driven straight through it before being able to panic about it anyhow.  Was a bit off the pace myself so tried my best not to get too much in the way of faster people behind me before settling in for a bit of a lonely but consistent lapping until the end.

I was very happy just to finally have a good consistent run with no spins, no track cut warnings or pit stops.

Apologies to whoever it was that I got in the way of during qualifying, I had a brain fade I'm afraid so sorry if it caused a lost lap.

Yeh Bill, I'm pretty sure the cut track at T1 is different on the short track.

I got one while ploughing through the gravel trap on the exit of the last turn  Huh

That was the one that got me, I just clipped the grass at the end of the runoff on the outside of the corner and got a cut warning, yet the second of the two corners making an s in the grandstand area gave no cut no matter how much you cut it, quite bizarre.

Hopefully the P&G version isn't the same.

Wasn't this one of the original GTL circuits? There usualy ok for things like cut warnings.
