It'll be 2004 but they're identical in terms of layout, grip and so on.

Strangely everyone who's faster is in a z4 Dont think its a good Porsche circuit this, for me. Fronts take too much of a battering with the corners, though managed a 2.02.9 but give it a few more laps and the tyres are going to struggle.

Sorry for bailing but when I got caught by the 'let us fill the car up with fuel' bug that was the end of me. I was slower than everyone else by a huge margin after 5 laps as I was destroying my front left. 29 wear when I pitted at about half distance. With out the benefit of gaining time in the pit stop I stood no chance. Last and pain for another 40 mins or last without. Easy really

Race was going great, got myself up from 11th on grid to 5th/6th after some good scraps & position swapping with Hal & TT. Sorry if I was a bit hesitant at times, I'm used to you two just zooming past me. Was trying to turn the thumb skrews on Simon in front for a good few laps when sadly Spanner came in the back of me going into the 2nd last turn on top of the hill (not sure if I was at fault? ). Anyway, it put me into the wall & gave me a flat tyre & suspension damage I found out as I pitted immediately. Had to change my tyre strategy to get me to the race end & sat patiently while my mechanics did their stuff & I came back out again dead last & lapped by everybody up to 20th place. Engine health had jumped down to 50% after the crash & I was keeping an eye on it as it was dropping like a stone. I managed to reel in Ted (despite lapping 1.5 secs a lap slower the before the crash) & would have been making a move on the next lap.... when my engine failed going up the hill. Gutted as the points from a top 6 finish would have done me no harm in the championship.
