I liked this track in GPL days and still enjoy driving here. The GT1s lapped very sensibly and I managed to avoid the worst of the carnage especially the static Goldtop. The BMW is not best suited to this track so tonight was damage limitation having smashed my PB and qualified only 4th. Apologies to SbG but at least my second attempt to let you lap me was rather more successful. Somehow I managed to gather enough points to force you to turn up next week - at least the league table tells a truer story of the season now. I think the team championship will be rather closer though. Congratulations to Jayblue and Ginsters for dominating wins and the other podium winners.

a race to forget really. Qually seemed impossible to get a clean run without meeting traffic and i couldnt get a decent lap in last 10mins. Race looked like it was going to be a good close battle with several other GTC cars but on about lap 2 when i had the perfect tow on a Z4, the door was rudely slammed shut at 150mph resulting in a high speed multiple spin and smash off the barriers The car was shaped like a 50pence piece and both headlights gone and i dropped to the back of the field. Need to see the replay on that to be sure but you cant change direction on someone at flat out straight tow-speed. But in the world of what goes around, comes around i was quite pleased to see my protagonist on the grass a lap later The car was pretty awful to drive after that (and so soon in the race) and half of the GTC grid seemed to get taken out or quit in the first 10 minutes which left for a pretty dull race for me with no one to chase as was so far behind the top 4 by the stops. Gawd knows how they stayed out the wars throughout the race GT1 lapping was a real mixture, most were very patient whilst others seemed to think they had full right to cut up the GTCs in corners where we really couldnt go off line and we were forced over by GT1s zipping across into the racing line as we tried to make our way onto it. Trust me, a low dowforce 911 with worn tyres off line in T2 (that long downhill left hander) was no fun at all and apologies to one GT1 i clumped in the side when the car went super light offline. A couple of late spins with a car that handled worse and worse as the race went on nearly cost me 5th to E.Meyer but i held him off and finished 5th. Got to say the Spykers are ridiculously fast for GTC class...werent they tested? They could catch and pass me like a GT1 on the straights. Didnt really enjoy tonight tbh, a real contrast to last weeks two races.

Err, how do you get TS shown on the G15 Dave?
There's a plugin - in fact there are several, but I use this one.

my race was ruined when i pitted, mechanical failure in the pits :'( what the hell is that about? i have never had that before, it took ages before i could get going again i was having some great battles around 8th place and i`m pleased to see the standard of driving is high in this league one thing i noticed, some GTC cars were slowing in unexpected places to allow me to pass which almost caught me out a few times. I decided to finish my race early after my strange pitstop so that i could have my dinner.

Was on a circuit that I like, weather was dry, made no mistakes to speak of, pits were no worse than usual and still got lapped by the leader. Not even JR was doing this. Bring back the penalty ballast! GTCs were great, even too acomodating at times - no need to go off the track, guys. Not even when 3 GT1s come screaming behind. H@l and Gazza were great as well. Was lucky to overtake first one then the other at their minimum mistakes / slow exits on the exit to s/f line. T1 is a right hander and was able to keep in front both times.

Gotta say, considering how difficult that was, the GT1 gents were excellent. Personally, I thought the track threw up new and slightly different challenges than normal, for a start you had to be far more aware of others than anywhere else I've driven. Would like to use it again but it would be, perhaps, too tough in the wet Our main aim was the team title and it should be a cracker at Dubai

That was such a comedy race. I really should look at the replay before writing this as there was so many errors and comedy moments. However... As others have said it was hard to get the full potential out of the car in qually, so started in a very tight grid in 10th place. Ok, should go up from there in the race. But I was soon to discover that the Astons were a lot quicker in a straight line and it was all I could do to keep in their tow down the back straight. The one time I pulled out to overtake I just went backwards without the tow. Made overtaking difficult and sure enough after making a little mistake I was down another place. I think during the race I understeer off twice at turn 2, took to the grass a couple of times at the hairpin and understeered and span at the right hander at the end of the back straight when Picnic waved me through on TS. This resulted in him spinning too and us making contact. Great teamwork. LOL. I think I was last or second last after having a fight with ApexUSA in his Corvette coming to the half way point and the pit stops. Had a rough idea where the pit entrance was and I'd eyed up where the lights on pit entry were a few laps earlier. However I "misjudged it" (that's the kind version) and I went into the pit wall rather than the pit entrance. This was right near where Jayblue was pitting so he must have been laughing his head off, I know I was. Reversed up, still alive (somehow not too much damage, ) and then drove to my pit box. Just as I was peeling into my pitbox one space ahead of Gazza, he started pulling out into the side of me and I had to do an emergency stop to avoid bigger collision. Pulled into my pits very slowly and at a jaunty angle to "help" my mechanics out with fixing the panels. Came out of the pits and a few laps later after most people had done their stops I had gained 3 places?! Eh? After crashing into the pit wall, having to repair the car, stopping twice in the pit lane and I still gain 3 places?! WHAT WERE THE REST OF YOU DOING?!!!! The last half of the race was far less eventful. I don't think I went off once and I was lapping at a decent enough pace to catch and pass Hal to finish in a completely undeserved 7th place.

Firstly, apologies to MJ for my erratic driving on the back straight on lap 2. I wasn't sure at the time whether the series of shallow corners that make up the back straight constituted a single straight and therefore whether I only had a single move to defend a line. I was mortified to see you spin; I hate to end anyone's race Anyway, as you say, I had my payback when Purdie (I think) spun on the last turn and I collected him and wrecked my steering. After a long pitstop I was dead last but ploughed on. Actually the car felt really good during the race but by this point it was getting a bit boring without anyone to race so I quit out. IMO Mosport is a fun track to drive but pretty poor to race on, especially in mixed classes.

Sorry about that Simon i didn't see you and i should of been looking behind when leaving. I enjoyed that race but ive never been more nervous of a track before. Was so hard getting a lap in qually so i cant imagine how it was for the GTC guys. I did quite a bit of practice sunday morning and was doing 1.11.7's but i couldn't get anywhere near this in the race as i think i was practicing with higher temps. Car didn't quite feel right and didn't have the confidence to push especially in the fast sweeping corners and was to afraid of falling off hence slower times. Made a tiny mistake on last corner which let TT sneak through and he was obviously a bit quicker, could stay with him as he tried to get past H@l but once he did he pulled away. Was reasonably comfortable in 4th so just tried to finish without any major offs. Grats Jayblue, Berger, TT and GTC podium. GTc's were very good tonight as that cant of been easy with the GT1's constantly passing

Fristly very sorry to McFids .... after Goldtops car froze on the straight I glanced off it and then glanced off the wall. Altho not big impacts they were both high speed (end of the main straight!) and I was worried the suspension may have been damaged. I tip-toed round the last set of corners before catching the curb and spinning on the last corner, ending up sideways across the track and he t-boned me .... I hated that feeling of driving past you afterwards McFids when your crawling along with your FR wheel sparking and damaged! sorry mate Quali was a bit disappointing to not get into the 1m16s, after doing it offline and getting low17s in practice earlier on the server. No idea how a 911 could muster a 15 to be with the Spykers! The tyres seemed to protest and overheat after one hard-driven lap so race pace was always going to have to be 'controlled' Start was fun and enjoyed putting the pressure on Prof....side-by-side down the straight just before the above happened. With a new modelled car I carried on and crashed 10 mins from the end! Struggling to go quicker than a 1m19! In hindsight I should have pitted for repairs, especially at a track where aero is so important and I had a 'triangular' 911. Its just with such short laps I would have been 2 laps down (where I ended up anway ) Shame cos I was loking forward to a good battle with MJ in the 911s.... hopefully Dubai will be fun and the 911s are more competitive against the Spyker (schmoke and a pancake)

Seems like I caused a lot of mayhem last night with my frozen car. I hit esc as soon as I realised what was going on, but clearly not soon enough. Apologies to all those who were caught up in the consequences.

Apologies to all those who were caught up in the consequences. Can't help disco's mate. The funny thing was how good Prof's reactions were and how bad mine were! He had 5 car lengths at 130mph to react and he missed you, I had at least twice that! haha EDIT: Forgot to say grats to Sbg.... great drive with great consistency and friendly flashing when lapping me twice

Nice race. I qualified well and lost control a few times in the race as has been the case with all my races in the Saleen so far this season. I started off well enough but eventually TT caught me and I did not want to let him past as he was my main competitor in the championship before yesterdays race. However, he was very quick and very determined to get passed. It was not long before he had done just that. He soon after did a well timed pass on a GTC on the left hand turn before the tight U bend corner. I had to wait until after the U bend to safely pass the GTC, by which time TT had built a gap and Gazza had caught me up. I started to fight Gazza and could not keep up with TT. Gazza also soon got passed and then the mistakes started coming. The race was not so good for me after that and I was passed by several more cars. I had an issue with the pits as well. My box was near the end of the pit, possibly the last box. I was not getting a response from the crew at all after requesting the pit. I decided to stay out and see if I could get confirmation on the next lap. As I drove down the S/F straight, I saw some of my crew standing in the middle of the S/F line???!!! I almost took avoiding action ( ) but then just drove straight through them. They should have know better. When I did come into the pit (still no blue light) the crew were ready despite the fact that I just ran them over at 130ish mph. Anyway, TT now has a massive gap over me in the championship and I am now fighting with nsfast. See if I can finish Dubai without crashing. Well done podiums.
