First race for me this season after some technical issues last week and had a fun time.
Had a reasonable start and gained a few places but was too slow and lost them already after a few corners. Got into a nice little fight with jpv but for a few laps until I lost control.
Great fun throughout the race. Close racing with Sandor in the first few laps until he fell off in the second chicane. Don't think there was any contact, but that distracted me so that I spun and nearly trashed the car blasting down the back straight (deja vu moment there).
Indeed there was no contact at all. Braked too late and I couldn't control the car anymore.
After that had another 2 or 3 errors and suddenly I get a s/g penalty and 5 secs later a black flag :-(
Must have missed the other warnings because I was trying to control the car. So out of the race after 8 laps ...
Noticed that I still have to practice a lot with the new steer to feel a bit more confident so see you all next week for some praccy laps on thursday
