Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 136s

Woltshire Tony is trying to pass Psuedo on the downhill straight before the track flattens out, and is levelled with Psuedo just before braking for the right hander. Psuedo then gets just in front of Wiltshire as they enter the turn. Psuedo then cuts in in front of Wiltshire. Wiltshire then starts accelerating again and hits Psuedo's rear, forcing him into a 360 spin. Both drivers continue without damage, but this should be avoided as many drivers are barely able to miss contact as they approach this accident.

Wiltshire could easily have lifted to give room to Psuedo who was in front as they started turn-in for this corner.

I've decided to also take the GT-40, in my/Dan's Gulf liveried GT40 (didn't do a skin for it  Roll Eyes ), the car feels alive here! Amazing fun with a nasty bite of yo ass waiting for you!!  Cheesy , Incredibly I too am doing low 47's  here SBG and as I cannot really compete in the GTL championship 'cos of shifts  :'( its the car I'm taking.  Grin

I'm just not sure, as I don't really drive fast in any car. Would like to try one of the cars best suited for the track, but don't know which that is yet.

might have missed the post with my snail mail i was lumbered with last week, but are there points to be had for this enduro series? If so, what are they?
Hope so, its more incentive to finish, and maybe a bonus point(s) should be scored for just 'actually finishing' the race to give some a reason to plod on until the end, rather than quit at 2/3rds distance etc. Its also a just reward for enduring the endurance length  Smiley

Just worried that if you tout this too much as a fun race then people will drop out too easily or not bother attending  Undecided

will give that ginsters GT40 setup a try, cheers mate.  angel
...might have to wash the seats first before i slide my Legends derrier into your car  Wink

Forgot to say, tried an offline race with a 30car grid at your 5pm race setting and it looked fantastic  Cool

Here is my Vette setup for Spa, best lap so far 2:41.2 .

http://files.filefront.com/Vette+69+JRsvm/;9708795;/fileinfo.html

If it still understeers too much, soften front bump to 1 and increase rear rebound. This is something I might do, but not tested yet it that will work Smiley.

Ta JR will try that  Smiley Crikey Madd thats flying, you should ask for his setup MJ Wink Shame you can't make all the races Madd but I hope there are some fun choices for those that you can. I'll be in the fun cars as well.

I'll only be able to make every third race 'cos I'm on mornings that week (looks like I'll be missing Dijon then  :'( ), but yes its going to be the fun cars from now on (but still try for points of course  Wink ), as for my lap time it remains to be seen whether I can repeat it!!  laugh , I'll do some more praccy tomorrow and try to replicate it.

i tried your setup briefly ginsters, but alas i think i would need a fair bit of time with the GT40 to be as competitive by thursday, so think i'll stick to my fave car.

As an aside, another track you might want to use as an endurance round is the Paul Ricard 75 track (long). Tried it out tonight offline and its a superb power track for the 76 class, maybe even GT65.  Cool

I'm kind of sad I'll never be able to fully participate in the Enduro events, I'll just be able to race for the first half of them Sad

Not so Jeff, i had every intention of racing the 65 vette and had done all my praccy with it until belatedly it was announced as a 76 event. Then i wanted to use the GT40, but having only ever raced it twice before, it was too much of a learning curve combined with lack of any praccy time before thursday to get competitive in it and also dont want to race either on my own or against just a couple of other GT40s in an 80min enduro.
But of course, to me, it dont get that much more nostalgic for me to race a 70's Porsche 911 around the legendary Spa track  Cool
Bizzarely, i dont think ive ever used it around Spa in a online race before  Huh Certainly not since the early days of GTL anyway, and i've never done a GTL enduro full stop !

What's the word on the white line at the pit exit? I think it shouldn't be crossed  neither by those coming out of rouge nor those exiting the pits. I'm asking because I just watched the replay of the fastest 911 lap posted on nogrip, and that guy stayed all the way on the right after eau rouge. With everybody slated for at least one pitstop, that kind of driving could lead to some high speed crashes with folks exiting pits.

think theres no rule against using all the track up there  Undecided gravity kinda dictates that your car naturally moves over to the right on the exit anyway !
Im pretty sure if you saw a car coming up the pitlane exit you could take the necessary avoiding measures in time
