Woltshire Tony is trying to pass Psuedo on the downhill straight before the track flattens out, and is levelled with Psuedo just before braking for the right hander. Psuedo then gets just in front of Wiltshire as they enter the turn. Psuedo then cuts in in front of Wiltshire. Wiltshire then starts accelerating again and hits Psuedo's rear, forcing him into a 360 spin. Both drivers continue without damage, but this should be avoided as many drivers are barely able to miss contact as they approach this accident.

Wiltshire could easily have lifted to give room to Psuedo who was in front as they started turn-in for this corner.

Try pressing ALT-F ingame, that should reset the FFB. When it happens and you can still go safely to the pits: press escape, goto controller and click "reversed effects" twice (thus setting to to previous setting).

The track looked great in these settings  thumbup1

Thanx for the tip , Ruskus.
Hope it will never happen again but then I will give it a shot.

Here is my post-finish stunt  Grin

Yes I cleared all the tyres, but those hills are very soft as I kept sinking and sinking Tongue

Had a great race but hard work. Enjoyed all the racing which to the most part was very clean, particularly the start and uphill drag. Very "after you claude"  Smiley
Lost my qualy position by spinning at Rivage which dropped me a load of places. Spent the remainder of the race making up positions until I finished a very happy 7th (Incident report pending  Sad) My pitstop was seamless but I had been practising them  Wink
I dont mind driving the 76'ers and am suprised that suddenly there is so many folk stating that there not there favourites. Didn't hear much about this last season when we raced 'em. I would have liked another class present as it would have made the event more interesting/exciting IMHO. Also the dusk was very "realtime". I personally prefer the daylight setting set to 10x as this usualy gives you the feel off driving throught the night. Still these arn't gripes just my personal observations. So pleased that the grid was pretty full and thanks to everyone who made this first GTL enduro a good event. More power to the event organisers.
I'm off to equatorial Borneo for three weeks R & R so see you all in Mexico.

im quite surprised at all the sudden animosity against the 76 cars too  Huh Its my favouite of the 3 classes available in GTL. Whats not to like of a class that includes racing legends like the 911, BDA Escorts, Capri, Pantera etc ?
I guess GT65 is the best supported class because of the sheer range of cars available but they have massive differences in ability and pace.

Great turn out last night, enjoyed the racing.  Cool Shame my pitboard ruined my race, can only think that when i tried using manual gears the other day i somehow over-rode the button for +/-  Huh..very frustrating when i was 4th at the time and only 9laps remaining.  :'(

I do wonder whether the longer tracks make the racing a bit spread out when only about 20ish of us race, but saying that, i was generally chasing someone or being chased for the majority of laps.

It's not sudden - I've always hated them. Cheesy Tongue

The problem with the '76 cars, certainly for me, is that they get you trouble very suddenly and don't give you any chance to recover before you're off the road. The Corvette is probably the exception but it destroys its tyres so quickly after 15 minutes it's no fun. Some of the faster GTC-65's suffer from the same evil handling - the TVR, for example, is especially bad for it.

Cheers Dave.

Tis a tricky one that. The very nature of longer races mean that fields are gonna spread out and race long battles are gonna be rare, the same is true of any GTR2 enduro, its always more of grinding, tactical affair. So does track choice make a huge difference? Only to keep different models even, as Spa did? We would love to use some of the "classic" enduro tracks, e.g. Lemans, but are very wary of the problem you raise.

The 76er's are clearly GTL's marmite class   Wink

I suspect its just a combination of a longer race and a difficult track revealing some people's less positive view of the 76 cars.  For shorter races us less expert people can handle them, our inadequacies were exposed more last night!  Some of us need to try harder  Cheesy

Length of track makes no difference to the actually racing, if the next car's 4 seconds up the road that's 4 seconds on a long or a short track.   Grin  Only difference is the amount of lapping that takes place.  So do people think its more atmospheric to see slower cars more often or are they of the opinion it increases the risk?  I'd say don't use anything shorter than a 90s track like Dijon GP but no need for great big long tracks.  I'd certainly prefer a less fiddly track, too tiring to be constantly cornering, and having a nice big straight is good for clearing lappees easily.

I personally have always been a fan of short tracks for this very reason. Everyone moans when I schedule a short track in UKGTR series Endurance but we seem to have enjoyable races on them.

eugh no, 'short' tracks are bloody horrible, especially with the wild handling of most of the GTL cars, it would be incident city with countless lapping/overtaking manouvres. I'm no fan of the mickey mouse circuits.
About the only class a short track would suit is the TC65 class and even then only for a sprint, doing 90 laps of a tiny track is not my idea of fun.
When i questioned spaced out cars for 20 car grids, i was querying whether we should use 'shorter' circuits...not short !
The longer tracks certainly suit GT76 and the faster GT65 cars as you can stretch their legs a bit and have proper sweeping curves instead of a series of niggly little hairpins and twists.

About the only tight track i like is Monaco  Cool

Not to long. Not to short. Medium length? Dijon should be good  Smiley

There will be a small gap after next week and time to decide best way forward for enduro. Your thoughts are valued. That said, I (so not necessarily the views of UKGTL) would dearly like a "different" and special season finale at maybe Lemans, Nords, etc. Romantic fool.
