Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 136s

Woltshire Tony is trying to pass Psuedo on the downhill straight before the track flattens out, and is levelled with Psuedo just before braking for the right hander. Psuedo then gets just in front of Wiltshire as they enter the turn. Psuedo then cuts in in front of Wiltshire. Wiltshire then starts accelerating again and hits Psuedo's rear, forcing him into a 360 spin. Both drivers continue without damage, but this should be avoided as many drivers are barely able to miss contact as they approach this accident.

Wiltshire could easily have lifted to give room to Psuedo who was in front as they started turn-in for this corner.

well im another 'romantic fool' then as i would instantly stick my hand up for either of those mesmorising circuits. Kiss
I dont think we do enough 'celebrated' circuits for our championships. I wish we would run a Le Mans round every year to coincide with the real deal and/or a 'Green hell' run ala the V24/Manthey Nords event. Racing nirvana  Cool

Laguna could be a good choice too, after seeing that GTracers episode, or Paul Ricard. Undecided

IMO there's only one track suitable for the Finale: Classic Le Mans (with the entire Mulsanne Straight  )... preferably at dawn/dusk/night)

For what it's worth: I really do not have a dislike for any type of car/circuit. What I do like is variety. Spa was great and a short circuit would be really a challenge... somewhat like the 24 hrs of Daytona in Januari (at least what I could distinguish between all the commercials and break-ups).
Sebring would also be nice...

Again a big thank you to the organisers (Ginsters, Pseudo,?) for setting up this series..  Grin

if you set daylight reality to 10x and start the race at 15:00hrs you should get all three! I've been testing the classic le Mans circuit for errors and have spent many a two hour session (30 laps) doing just this.

One more vote for Le Mans.
Although a GTC-65 race at Nords would be good. Undecided

If you're talking about Nordschleife, then I'm emphatically against it. I just hate that rack (and I'm from GPL and still have to drive it occasionally in league races).

Is it possible to have a overall cup, where points from both enduro and classic cups are added together?

How about Sebring instead then?

what have you got against the Nordschliefe (out of interest) ? Many thousands turn out to watch it every year so must have something going for it ! Not to mention the amount of people who take their real cars out on it.
Its on my 'to-do list' in the 911  Cool

As for Le Mans
Wiltshire, is that the LeMans67 track your testing? Been meaning to jump on that myself for some Steve Mcqueen type laps  Tongue

Certainly is Grin Been doing two hour events with mixed GTC65 and 76's, I drive the 906 with r e a l l y long gearing. Excellent track with no obvious bad spots, however at night with headlamps on there is graphical corruption displaying on the road surface on some parts of the circuit. It's not really that distracting. It's just something you can't help but notice. But could be my ATI card. Who knows. Doesn't stop me enjoying it tho Smiley

Can't possibly compare Le Mans and Surfers Paradise, especially, when we're talking endurance races.

Nordschliefe I guess is just one of those tracks you either love or hate. And I hate it. I'm also no fan of tracks where it takes more than 4 minutes to complete a lap.
And don't confuse me with this Nords and so so on names. It's the Ring people  Grin.

I don't mind 4 miute tracks, but the problem is when setting up the car, it takes forever just to start on the timed lap. So about 2.5-3 min should be fine IMO.

But the problem with a shorter track is the contant lapping. And for us not too confident, that's just boring, as I'm too afraid of ruining the race for the most comitted drivers, so I let them by as quick as possible, and loose a ton of time and consentration.

It doesn't matter if the track is long or short for close racing. If the guy infront is faster and the guy behind slower, you'll always be on your own, either a Mickey Mouse track or a multiple minute track. The only way you get to see more people on a short track is when lapping/being lapped. If laptimes are equal you'll also be close on a long track, as on a short track.

The problem with Nordschleife...it's no racetrack for simracing. Too narrow, too dangerous.
