I had a good qually. I could not have done much better than 5th on the grid. I was slow on the start and I lost a few positions. I had a calm opening lap, but I lost it on the exit of turn three on the second lap (I think). I was just off for a second, but I might have fallen back to 9th or 10th place. My race was very interesting because I had four or five cars in front of me to try to catch. Everyone that I raced against showed good sportsmanship. It was a challenging race. I was hesitant to take many risks because I just wanted to bring it home. I finished in 5th place, the same as my starting position. Thanks to the organizers, and congrats to winner and the runner ups.
Good race, Walter

God I hate this track, I just could not get a rhythm here at all. Got a PB in Quali, and was mid grid. My start was OK, I managed to pass a few people. Going into the first corner someone was being really cautious, and slowed down really early. I had to jink to the left to miss them, and that ended up with me in a tank slapper. Luckily I didn’t hit anyone, but did spin and ended up last.
Started up again and chased Paul for a little while, and then Nigel but I just couldn’t keep up any pace, and if I gained one lap, I would loss it the next. Me and Nigel passed Paul on his roof, but once he was upright again he was much quicker than me and forced an error. I don’t know what happened to Nigel….
After that I had a lonely couple of laps until the finish. It really was nice to see such a large grid, hope that will continue. I'm looking forward to the next race, and I hope to do much better.
Congrats to Podium guys, there were some serious fast drivers here and you have my respect.

A race of two halves for me, I got a decent start with Arf flying past me with some great tippy toe driving into the first chicane. I never got the following right hander right all race and Arf knew it. He was faster than me but it is a hard place to overtake and I managed to stay in front aided by Ivan pestering Arf for second place. About 12 laps in I ran wide and spun dropping back to fourth. I tried a stupid overtake on Dave R and thankfully did not take him out. I stayed in front for about a lap until I spun again and rolled it but luckily no damage. I chased Dave to the flag but couldn't catch him. The pace upfront was really quick and proved too much for my concentration over race distance. I take my hat off to all on the podium, there was some terrific driving. I think Walter also deserves a mention with some incredible qualifying. Really enjoyable race- see you all next time.

We did Edmonton in F2’s a few weeks ago. I knew the track but the unknown quantity was what would be a good benchmark time. I was thinking 1.37 would be competitive – the pace of the guys at the front was awesome. There were one or two corners where I could have braked a bit deeper or tried to carry a higher gear but I didn’t want to experiment during race conditions. After the first few laps I’d worked out that Paul & then Al weren’t going to close up unless I made a mistake. The guys in front were too quick, apart from Nigel who I was aiming to do some racing with but he disappeared into the pits. After that it was just a case of keeping a clean run to the flag. Nice to see the grid is a starting to fill up a bit.

Thanks, I spent a lot of time doing practice laps. I really should practice timing the race start. I feel like Mark Webber on the starting grid! I am looking forward to the upcoming races. Bathurst, Silverstone, Zolder and Monza should be good fun to race. EDIT: I somewhat regret my choice to be reserve driver instead of a full time driver at this point in the season. I will really kick myself if we have a full grid.

Managed to do 1st time in Q and then like always a bad start. Went to 4th or 5th. After several laps went to 3rd after Arf. 8 laps before the end i thought that i could overtake him and began closing and thinking where but made a mistake and spun. Then lost concentration and made several small mistakes but with no bad consequences and decided to try if i could make fastest lap. 2 laps before the Finish saw Arf and tried to reach him but no success. That was a great race Grats Arf for the win!

Joined late for practice and had a spin during my first lap. On trying to get back on track in wrong direction I got disqualified and wasn't allowed to come back. So I decided to give this a miss, because I didn't want to be even slower than usual without a single online lap. Looks like it'll take some doing with GPL Still sound problems - but only online. Offline sound looks better after some installing some alternate files. Trying again next time.

I've just noticed that Bathurst is on November 5th- the kids will probably want to go and see some fireworks- hopefully not too late.

Is there a weeks break? Edmonton was 15/10 so next race would usually be 29/10?
