Season 43 – 1967 F1 Privateers Championship

Please check the Season 43 details regarding rules and the 1967 F1 Privateers Championship pages in particular.

This season, races are to be run at 60fps – please use this patch 60fpsV2newmod. If you have issues read festers post.

Drivers must complete 50% of each race to score.

The races will be run as follows:

Car set: 1967 F1 only.
Date: Every second Sunday from 3rd September 2023
Time: No later then 9:00pm UK Time (30-60 mins practice, race starts at 9:30pm)
Race Length: 50 minutes
Damage Model:  Pro
Server: TBA
Race List: IGOR

Handicapping
A tokens system will be used with drivers being awarded tokens for starting the season and for starting each race. Each car will cost a number of tokens per race.

Drivers are reminded that Lap 1 incidents carry an extra 1 place penalty.

Only reported incidents will be moderated.

In the seasons.ini file that I've created for #43, does anyone know the name of the flag for Morocco (AinDiab)? I've tried maro, maroc, moro, moroc, and morro (all suffixed with "flg") and nothing seems to work. The GPL track flag data file that I got somewhere years ago claims it's maroflg, but that doesn't seem to work for me.

Of no practical help Pepe, but I could never work out the prefix for the Austrian flag.

SGEM.INI has it listed as maroflg
However, from poking around in layout.dat,  maybe try morrflg

Try ausflg. It works on my Best Laps page. The country's motto rhymes in both German and English: "Rot weiss rot, bis zum tod!" (Red white red, 'till we're dead!). Don't ask me why I have remembered that.

It`s been a long time since I`ve raced online. I`ve bought a new Computer and downloaded everything that that I needed to start online racing. Is there anything else I need to consider before the race tomorrow evening, passwords and so on?

I`m really excited and I don`t want to do anytthing wrong.

The password should be visible at the top of the event thread later today.

UKGPL_10 is online for testing & should be visible within iGOR.  Suggest you check you can see it &  can connect ok before the race 

Some of the race details may have changed since your last event, but info is in the event / supporting season details.  For example - typically there is no reset/shift-R available for Sunday events.

As you can't see any servers,   you may need to check/update your iGOR.ini file...

In iGOR.ini,  update the IP as below:
