Hi Kai

Welcome back. Please use the buttons above and I'll process your registration. Good luck in the races.

Hi Phil, I contributed to the poll, I would love to be given a pass in-time to enter the next race, which is Kyalami.  Smiley

Great, thanks Phil!  Last question is, where do I find the join password?

The password is always at the top of the race announcement. It is made visible 24hrs before the race.

Great thank you.  I've checked the token system details, As such I'm planning to run a Brabham at Kyalami so just thought I'd better check I read the rules properly, and that this is indeed fine.  Smiley

Just had a look around Dundrod for the 67 race. There was a mid-season fun race here in the 65 cars - which was tricky, but tolerable. In the 67 cars it is ridiculous. Will sit this one out & catch up at Mexico.

Billy,

We already raced here with 67 cars during season 41 (it was Dundrod version 65).
There were several DNF's but some of us could finish the race   Grin

David,
That was not intended as a complaint.
What I should have said it is beyond my skill level for the amount time I can commit to practice.
We are moving house the week after so I shall probably spend Sunday evening packing boxes.

I have voted for this series, but as there's only a few races left, I won't be able to do more than 75%

Question: Do I need to register for a particular car? or can I use whatever I want at the events?

On the page where you voted it says:
Handicapping
A tokens system will be used with drivers being awarded tokens for starting the season and for starting each race. Each car will cost a number of tokens per race.

Not sure how many tokens you start with at this stage.

The registration thread (i.e. where drivers vote) just has a synopsis, the full championship description is on the championship page. It details the tokens awarded if a driver joins the championship half way through the season.

Anyone joining now would get an initial allocation of 5 tokens rather than 10. So with the start money for the first race, a new driver would have a maximum of 15 tokens to spend. So that means the fastest car a new driver could have in their first race is the Ferrari. But after that they would obviously have zero tokens to carry over to the next race.

Great to see you here Dimi and an impressive debut, although there was little doubt in my mind that you would be fast. Especially with Hristo coaching from the pits lol!!!

I might steal your BRM setup and try to tame that beast, because in all my years of racing GPL, I have never had any success with that car. Or, maybe I need to employ Hristo as a personal advisor??  Roll Eyes

I think that you will soon rise through the ranks and start bothering the fast guys.  Wink
