Season 44 – 1955 GP Privateers Championship

Please check the Season 44 details regarding rules and the 1955 GP Privateers Championship pages in particular.

This season, races are to be run at 60fps – please use this patch 60fpsV2newmod. If you have issues read fester's post.

Drivers must complete 50% of each race to score.

The races will be run as follows:

Car set: 1955 GP only.
Date: Every second Sunday from 21st January 2024
Time: No later then 9:00pm UK Time (30-60 mins practice, race starts at 9:30pm)
Race Length: 50 minutes
Damage Model:  Pro
Server: TBA
Race List: IGOR

Handicapping
A tokens system will be used with drivers being awarded tokens for starting the season and for starting each race. Each car will cost a number of tokens per race.

Drivers are reminded that Lap 1 incidents carry an extra 1 place penalty.

Only reported incidents will be moderated.

Phil, since my 55mod installation is still crashing my system every time, I'd like to remove my allocated slot to free it up for anyone who was late to register, but would like to compete.

Your consideration for others is most appreciated Cubbie but there is no risk of anyone missing out so I'll leave you on the list. If you manage to fix your installation (I hope so, there are enough willing helpers on this forum to get to the bottom of what is wrong) you can join in again.

Is it at all tracks or just Assen?
If it's just Assen do other mods have the same problem?

Re installing the track would be my first step.

Perhaps redownloading and reinstalling.

OK she's alive!    complete wipe/reinstall of mods seems to have fixed it.

I just voted for less than 75% for this series.

I had a screen freeze when I tested out the car and track two weeks ago. I haven't practiced since then. Hopefully I will have some free time tomorrow.
 
I had a successful practice session offline Saturday night. No freezes today.
