Really sorry that I missed these races.
I had driven back home after Christmas with my grandchildren ( exhausted but happy , me and the grandchildren
) and I was looking forward to some fun races.
But, when I tried to join IGOR....nothing......no internet connection....zilch!!! A quick re-boot....still nothing???!!!
I was too tired to bother investigating last night so this morning I tried again. Maybe my ISP was down last night?....but no that seemd to be OK. My Virgin modem was showing all the correct lights EXCEPT the one indicating "activity", that was totally dead.
Then I recalled that my daughter ( who is home from Hamburg for Christmas) was given an Amazon Kindle as a gift, and had tried to download some books. Fortunately I keep the Windows "System Restore" tool backed up every 5 days and when I ran the last restore point..."Voila" internet connection OK.
I'm just curious to know if the Amazon Kindle episode could have caused the problem? It seems very unlikely, but I cannot think of anything else that happened over the last 5 days that might have interrupted my normally rock solid connection?
I certainly hope to get involved in the next Ferrari challenge races, but I might have to paint the car white
