Due to unforeseen technical difficulties & lack of snow in France the Winter version of Rouen circuit is not available. Have therefore agreed a swap - Sunday drivers will now be at Rouen on 3rd Jan and there will be a fun race at Watkins Glen - complete with snow - on 5th January. (see separate post].
Spec challenge will be the same - BT11 v Ferrari. (65 Mod).
Usual format - 2 x back to back races at the same track - use a different car in each race.
Unlimited Shift R permitted. This is an unmoderated fun race but please drive responsibly. Would be great to get past the hairpin with all cars on track.
Hope to see you there ... Bill

I should be OK for this one if I can locate some decent setups in time.

Dont think this clashes with any Interleague fixture but suggest the usual Sunday Drivers start time of 9.15 UK time.

Would be great if we could use your server and ukgpl5 is not available. Don't want to risk using mine until all problems sorted.
Bill will let you know re lap numbers...

Thanks Nicky,
Usual distance for Sunday Drivers is about 20 - 25 minutes for each race. That should work out to about 9 laps at Rouen.

Hi Bill,
In two warm up races at Rouen, we've rubbed wheels in both, which is little thanks for your organising these winter events.  Your more consistant laps have put me both ahead and behind, and you do insist on driving fast when I'm trying to pass you!

The fault is mine - being inexperienced online, I'm finding humans behave differently to ai on the track.  So I offer an official apologee before the collective masses, and individually to clumps (could've worded that better) I may have clouted.

If GEM+ conjours up a simulated hospital bed, and won't let me join this evenings race, I shaln't complain - it's usual when driving by brail.
Martin.
