Yes , that is what I have done, but GEM does not right the the files , there is no GEM.ini folder , it is still as if I had deleted it
This may not be it at all
but from running
winecfg, on the 'Applications' tab, is it set to mimic a particular Windows version?
Maybe the GEM.INI would be found in another directory? (maybe search under your 'drive_c' directory).
I think for example. that WinXP mode will write the GEM.INI in the GEM+ folder where the GEMP2.exe is located.
Later Win behaviour may write that somewhere under .wine/drive_c/users/xxxx as mentioned elsewhere
So may be as well to check whether there is another copy in another location. Otherwise, maybe re-run the installation for GEM+ again.
I've had to do that before where adding a mod broke something & re-installing GEM+ got it working again.
Otherwise, I'm probably out of ideas, so back to Axel
